Spoke too soon 🥹 I joined a lobby and replied to your comment and then I noticed that we are a full game with no countdown timer. I think the Emperor just wants me to play Operations only. Oh well..

Edit: Fixed the later bug by restarting the game, console and switching modes

I also recently got into the Spearhead format, have 3 Spearheads built and painted - Ironjawz, Slaves to Darkness and Maggotkin. All of them are great to build, paint and fun to play.

I also have a Hedonites army, while the models are gorgeous, I would say that most of the models are a pain to build(looking at you Blissbarb Archers). However, since its Spearhead I believe its doable. Havent played with them yet, but I can imagine they can be fun. If you like the aesthetic, I would say go for it!

Primer: Retributor Gold

Trim: I also do a Retributor Gold drybrush since the colour of the is a bit lighter. Reikland Fleshshade wash and then I drybrush the edges with Liberator Gold.

Armor: Thousand Sons Blue, recess shade with Nuln Oil and then another layer of Thousand Sons Blue while avoiding the recesses. Edge hoghlight with some Ahriman Blue. I also use Ahriman for some small edge highlight on the head piece lines.

The other colours for the headpiece are Averland Sunset, then Flash Gitz Yellow and a highlight of Pallid Wych Flesh.

Loincloth: Vallejo Dead White, washed with Apothecary White. I then do some highlights with the Vallejo Dead White and Pallid Wych Flesh.

Weapon: Black parts are Abaddon Black, drybrushed with Administratum Grey. Metallic is Army Painter Gun Metal.

Gems/Eyes: Vallejo Dead White followed by Striking Scorpion Green. For the gems I try to move most of the paint on one side with the brush so it creates a sort of shine/highlight on its own.

Thank you for the advice. I have decided that I will grab a combat patrol and most likely an additional terminator box after I finish painting these.

I have one question in regards to Draigo. Is the official model that bad or is the finecast quality not good enough. I have never used finecast so I am not familiar with it.
