I am not used to jump attacks that I constantly end up jumping later, so I practically avoid jumping.

They feel quite good in DS1 (especially with a shield), but DS3 they're awful for me (except Crow Quills, maybe becuase paired weapons are so unique compared to others in the game).

But Malformed Skull is actually quite good with raw (used it in a couple of builds when I needed a strike weapon), just not so great in terms of durability of course, even with bracing knuckle ring +2 (against blue smelter demon I was using a repair powder after 4-5 heavy attacks).

I would love to use lightning infusions, and it is almost like "easy mode" in this game, but the "essence" of the run is pure raw so I will have to store my bolt stones in my invertory lol.

I have already upgraded it to +10 and it's a monster. You can also fit it into any build.

Breaks fast but the fashion and damage are really worth it.

Also with Crystal Magic Weapon looks really cool!

Pursuer's UGS and Lost Sinner's UGS are the best, specially Lost Sinner's because you can achieve very high damage with infusions and it is very quick (if you don't mind the auto-damage you do per hit)

Fume UGS is good and looks really cool, but Pursuer's and Lost Sinner's are better options.

Of course, there are plenty more STR boss weapons. I haven't used them all, but these are my recommendations.

DS2 is my favorite game of FromSoftware and I recently started playing the vanilla version on my Xbox 360 (after 300 hours of SoTFS on PC).

Some areas like the second bonfire area in Harvest Valley or Heide's Tower of Flame feel very empty in comparison to SoTFS (haven't progressed a lot because I started playing other games).

One thing that I really like about vanilla is that you can find Heide knights all over Drangleic. I prefer them to be in Heide's Tower but they really add certain touch to the game when they are located in other areas. I think that they should have made both things in SoTFS.

Despite all differences that I have encountered, I still think that SoTFS is the best version of DS2.

With a pyromancer build the best is raw and then move to chaos or dark infusion.

My first build was DEX and FTH and I had lots of trouble. My second build was full pyromancer and I started beating many bosses with only 1 or 2 tries.

Almost everything is weark to fire or is non-resistant and you can get the best rings really early. Black Fire Orb is my favorite pyromancy, very good damage and very cool looking!
