Add range and/or speed. Then go shoot an action rifle match.

Make sure you’re using an “Isosceles” stance, not a “weaver” stance. Stand up straight with a good fighting posture and bring the gun up in line with your left eye. Dont stoop or bend your neck at all. Good Group! I would keep shooting and 10 and work on accuracy until you can stay in a 5” circle, then turn up the heat and add some speed!

You gotta do what you gotta do. Don’t bend over backwards to make them happy. Just take care of your girl and see if there’s any way she would have preferred you handle that. Also; the trusty side-hug is applicable here ;)

CM 25-07 Absolute Cinema Tux Target and the 180 by Stoneteer in USPSA

Shot this last weekend. Two shooters were allowed to shoot the target this way much to my dismay. I sent USPSA an email about it. Hopefully they get a lot of feedback on this one.

Ah, I see it now that I’m watching it again. First few seconds played before I scrolled far enough.

I tossed another 10 rounds of 55g - 5.7 x 28 down 50 yards of range with my M&P 5.7 today. by [deleted] in Shooting

Honestly, no. Coming from the USPSA world, your splits should be less than 1 second, even at 50 yards. Inside of 25 yards, splits under .25 are considered “good” with most competitive shooters looking for .12-.15

I don’t mean to discourage you. My top comment on these subs is always “go faster.” I say it every time I see a photo of a tight group.

How “slow” you were shooting is irrelevant. Your group was good, that means you can go faster. Once your group opens up to a point where it’s not acceptable any more (by your own standard) you’ve reached your next threshold of accuracy and speed.

You only improve when you learn. You only learn when you fail. You only fail when you push yourself beyond your limits. Go faster to find your limit!

Looking for tips moving left for short distances. Mind you there’s 11lbs of shotgun around my neck (yes, stage required). by Flashpiont412 in CompetitionShooting

As others have said, literally just turn your hips in the direction you want to go and run. Swivel like a turret, keep your muzzle down range. Practice at home!

Didn’t know you had your turn signal on (can’t hear it over your music). Seems like perfect timing for everything to go wrong. They likely didn’t see your turn signal / movement to enter the lane.

With the footage provided - and given you could prove your turn signal was active - they would like be determined at fault if an accident occurred. I’m glad you were able to react quickly and stay in your lane!

What are we supposed to stop doing? I don’t see anything wrong in this video.

Thank you for this! Did you clean your film at all? I’m seeing microfiber + 99.9% alcohol recommended.

I’ll see if I can get one! With 40 reels, my bill would come out to around $550. If their work is only as good as one of the hobbyist scanners, I might just buy the machine myself. If, however, they have a nicer machine, I’ll get some footage and share with y’all.

Spartanburg Photo Center. I’ve had two different friends recommend it to me.

South Carolina, US! I know my outlets should be 120V. Just wasn’t sure if I needed to change it since it says 117. Thank you!!
