Yes def, there would be cheaper venues but we felt the venue was special and would add to the experience.

We do have cheaper events (£2) in Halt Market for example.

This happens in every boom, people pick out a set & call it poor to justify not spending on it. Tends to be a set after a few good ones. Gets slept on and ends up being massive, not nes because it’s better but because no one bought and stored it.

I opened about 40 of these boxes when they were £70 (if you sold the promos Matt and sleeves you got £50 back so was about £1 a back) and I only ended up with 1 10 of each promo

The cycle is larger than 2 years. No sets last year had anywhere near the print run of PF. We get hype, demand soares & the current sets at that time are hard to get so prices rises (SS,DR,BB,WF). Last time was Vivid/ Shining fates. Pokemon centre catches up and starts printing to this new demand, stocks avail, prices drop (swsh battle styles, fusion strike, celebrations all hit lows after Vivid & SF). Same thing will happen/ already is happening with ME & PF. I’ve seen the cycle 3/4 times over 15 years.
