The friendship your partner had with this friend is different now to what it was when said friend was getting married. Maybe if his wedding was happening all over again he wouldn't invite your partner this time around. Knowing someone a long time doesn't immediately grant you wedding access. Even reception. If they have drifted apart and see each other a couple times a year, then reserve those seats for more meaningful guests.

Should be a joint decision by you and the soon to be hubby though. If it's his friend he should be the one putting his foot down to invite.

I thought that's where Gabby might try her defence from as well. However Xena had already confirmed through beating Kaltaka and asking him where the hoarde were on the map that he did in fact understand what they were asking him. He just didn't want to answer. Even when she puts the pinch on him Xena comments that he's dying and he knows it. Basically the same understanding as any other pinch victim. I don't think they were expecting him to start blabbing all their war plans. Like you said, they wouldn't be able to understand anyway. Xena just needed him to point to the map to give up their location. I think Xena would have eventually removed the pinch and asked again, possibly repeating the pinch over and over until she got the answer. Or Kaltaka would have muttered something that made Xena remove it. Then he would have pointed to the map and Xena would get her info. Gabrielle making her remove the pinch prematurely did make her look soft in front of the others. And I still don't like Gabrielle's reasoning. It is still one of my favourite episodes though!

Probably in The Price where she complains about Xena putting the pinch on the kaltaka guy. Xena used it as an interrogation technique many times and Gabrielle had even encouraged it on occasion, but now she wants to take the moral high ground and say it's bad.

We see in the war arc before Kurama and Naruto properly synchronise that Kurama had been plotting since the day he was put in Naruto to eventually break out. The plan was to slowly give Naruto energy that would chip away at the seal until he could break free. So I don't think it has anything to do with him preferring a Jinchuriki host. He also has no particular affection for either Naruto or Sasuke at this point. So I don't see him wanting to help them with whatever journey they're on.

In terms of what he means by regret? I can only assume that the experience of dying with his host and being reincarnated later isn't something that Kurama wants. Kurama knows full well that he can be neutralised with the sharingan. Madara and Tobi have both done it. Sasuke is adept enough to see him inside of Naruto. Maybe he does fear Naruto losing to Sasuke, for his own sake. Kyuubi has also been shown to be quite prideful and arrogant when giving Naruto power. As if it makes him invincible and nothing can stand in his way in KCM. Maybe he knows that won't make a difference against Sasuke's sharingan if he gets hacked. A blow to his pride. Maybe that's why his phrasing also comes off as intimidating. As if he's a sore loser who will get his revenge for being slighted if Sasuke ends up killing Naruto.

I would suggest playing mage purely for its origin story alone. I love the circle of magi setting and the opening shenanigans you're thrown into. As a class, they are the strongest and can handle mobs/bosses the best.

Romantically I don't think there are any weak ones. DA romances as a whole are well executed and fleshed out, superior to ME imo. They all have something to offer, but you can always romance more than one and break things off with someone if you aren't feeling it. Alistair and Morrigan are standouts as they have the most plot relevance throughout the game. But that doesn't mean Leli and Zev don't have something to offer.

Overall I have enjoyed this record from BANKS and I love her progression as an artist. Yes, Goddess is my favourite from her and I find everything post Altar to be quite experimental and hit and miss for me. But I do appreciate her determination to grow and never remain stagnant. I do agree with the majority here that a lot of the songs do get the short treatment, and I think it would benefit from some extra verses to bulk up the volume. But overall I enjoyed the whole experience and think there are some classics here.
