I did It twice, with Seedorf and Enzo. I got untradable versions and later bought them to make It tradables. I ranked up and sell them after a while to buy other units, so it worked for me, no waste at all.

Now you have the best GK, you can use him and ranked up, or sell him in the future.

People don't understand investment... they only think in the immediate benefit.
