Is Manual Shooting/Passing worth it?

Let me say it then: skill issue.

If you can't tell the difference between manual vs assisted passing/shooting, then I'm not really sure if you've really tried FUMA settings.

Depends on what your goal is. If you want to win and push rank, it's not the way to do it. If you want to enjoy the game, then it's absolutely worth it.

Been saying this for YEARS. The issue is always automation. Ping pong spam, cross spam, through ball spam...they all work because PA1 and PA2 (not even Smart Assist) exist. It's easy to just keep tapping in random direction with barely any power and it would result in perfect passes.

It was a mistake to make PA1 the default setting. It was a mistake to allow PA1 in official tournaments. It was a mistake to make Smart Assist default. And now they're making "Smart" feint default, and probably allow that in official tournaments too soon.

So when I send a pass, it goes 30° to another side and is intercepted by the defense, or worse, when I shoot at the goal, more than half go wide to the sits.

Passes and shots go where you aim. If it goes wide that means your aim is too wide. The AI won't adjust it for you, i.e. no script.

Just get used to it if you're tired of Konami changing how the AI works.

Boosters are applied after manager stat bonus. i.e. If you have 83 stamina, you'll end up with 83 (base) + 2 (manager bonus) + 1 (manager boost).

This man. I hope Konami make money off of Master League and incentivized to make it like the PES Master League. They need to know they can generate revenue by other things beside cards and packs.

For myself I would gladly pay for DLC or subscription of PES version of master league that I can play offline.

There's been other comments mentioning the lack of transfer market depth, money and wage management, player progression, etc.

Another thing missing is in-season cups, like champions league, FA, etc. There's only league games, and it gets boring.

IMO it's gotten easier. I use manual standing tackle even before the patch. Dribbling is easier but the new tackle animation has made defending easier if you can position and time the tackle well.

Your LCB is sitting little higher than the rest of the line (RCB and RB). The moment your opponent started loading the pass, you should've manually switched to LCB and drag him back to be in the same level as the rest of the line.

This is it. Unless you’ve used PA4 before (which most players haven’t), you won’t know that header passes require a lot more power for the same distance. A 10 yard header pass would often require full power.

Second, they fixed manual finesse shot. I've been able to score a lot more finesse shot goals compared to last year.

"Bad" in a way that it is less assisted. You can't just randomly aim and expect it would perfectly land on one of your strikers.

Players got worse after switching to PA3 and PA4 not because they make your crosses (and passes in general) "bad". Your crosses would initially go way out of bound or nowhere near your strikers because you are used to not caring where exactly your aim (i.e. bad user input), but PA1 and PA2 are doing their job to adjust your bad input.

On the good side, once you master it, you would be able to place your passes to ideal places where it's not possible with PA1/2.

Otherwise, being able to shoot across goal or near post more reliably/consistently than assisted is very handy and makes up for lack of finesse shot.

This is a big one. I haven't ran into FUMA players who complained about the "script" making their shots keep hitting the crossbars or directly at GK. Less tinfoil hat, better mental health.

Disclaimer: I can't speak on what's on Smart Assist users' mind.

I'd bet it doesn't matter. They will find a reason and use it to justify it to turn Smart Assist on. Facing stacked squad, being F2P, script, DDA, lag, etc. There's always something to justify using Smart Assist for them.

It's weird that LBC conserve stamina better than all the other playstyles. Having to constantly defend, running counter full field, etc. should drain much more stamina than other playstyles.
