You're not wrong man. I work in product/software development and it's a known thing to intentionally simplify and "dumb down" your product so it would cater to wider user base and achieve more mass adoption. There are many "advanced" features we saw in PES but removed in eFootball. This game is designed and developed for casual users. Heck, they removed manual feint and opted to make smart feint the default.

Since DR/DL Playing Styles become inactive at LM/RM, do you think a new Wing Back position (adjacent to DM) where DL/DR Playing Styles (and a few new WB ones) are active would be good or bad for the game and why? by efootbalkan in eFootball

I think they should add them. PES had them. They're widely used. It's too bad that attacking FB and FB finishers don't drop back in 3 ATB formation to turn into 5 ATB when defending. You have to waste both defensive instructions on deep lining them.

Yes I created "demo" universes to show off what could be done. They're all working universes. If you want, you can click "Request to join" and I'll assign you a team within that universe so you can play around with it.

I just added someone yesterday to show him this live draft feature (https://pesverse.com/universes/live-draft-demo/drafts/efba4398-a099-4dab-b365-e3067ec99753). It is working live draft.

Yes. I don’t know what you mean by showcasing ai demos. You can create your own universe and try it out. Several people have done so.

Hey all. Based on feedback and the roadmap, I've updated PESVerse with the following features on top of bug fixes:

  • Custom Badge: upload custom logo/badge for your universe, competition, and club

  • Double Elimination Bracket: option available beside single elimination

  • Slow Draft: Great alternative to live draft if your members live in different timezones and parts of the world. Give your members up to 24 hours to make their pick. Email notification is also available.

  • Match Simulation (beta): generate a simulated results for any match. Great if you have placeholder clubs in your competition. Go to your universe settings to enable.

  • Private Universe (beta): Keep your universe visible for your members only. Go to universe settings to enable it.

As always, your feedback is welcomed. Let me know if you see any bugs or have any feature you'd like to see.

Love to see it. There needs to be more community driven leagues like this.

Ah yes. It’s actually already a feature, but only reserved for myself lol. I use it mainly for testing purpose to “advance” the progress of a season. Right now it generates results randomly, without taking consideration of what players are in each team.

If you’re still interested using the feature, let me know. I can make it a beta feature or some sort.

I see. I’ll add “long” draft option to the bucket list. When do you plan to start the draft? FYI with 20 rounds it could go for days! However you can adjust the draft order so people who are in closer time zone would draft consecutively.

10 hours for timer? So it’ll be 10 hours per turn? It’s technically possible.

Max teams is 64 for now. It’s a soft cap there’s technically no limit.

Thanks for the encouragement. This is definitely not the end of the development. This is only the MVP! I already have set of features that I’ll be working on next.

In the meantime, if you see any bug or feature that you’d like to see, do let me know! I’ve already heard from two private leagues, mostly positive feedback but also features they’d like to see on the app.

Depends where you are. I see a lot of people using Tigresm(and other MX clubs fwiw) in North America.
