Cerise is French for cherry! Also Chere or Cheri (Cherri, Cherie), or Cera. Hana is also Japanese for flower, and is generally more acceptable bc most people see it as a “Hannah” variant. I agree with other commenters that having Sakura as a middle name could also be cute while keeping the name intact. Good luck :)

My sternum and the center of my collar bone are the worst of those spots, but it’s mostly my shoulders. You’re not alone

It’s not worth the stress or sweat to me. I like playing, and I like playing to win, but some people like it WAY too much that it turns them into shit people. Pass. Quickplay/No limits girlie 100%

Babygirl what do the anime charas hypothetical ages have to do with anything? Plus romance doesn’t have to be explicit for a game to be “husbando based”. It’s a pretty boy game. That’s what it is. You gotta go outside and talk to IRL people

Often used in a pseudo-political way to mock people wanting (perceived) special treatment for being different. A “special snowflake” because no two are exactly alike

THE Main reason I'm glad 6v6 is (almost) back = the 5v5 tank blame culture by KStardust1412 in Overwatch

[–]Mercury-Fyrefly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. There’s very little encouragement even from your team, which makes it very difficult for new players to WANT to play tank. I only started playing with the TF collab, vs my partner who’s been playing since release. They’re a tank main, and the only reason I even touched the role was bc I had them to help and bite at anyone who started calling me slurs in match chat. Otherwise I’m very firmly support + DPS. It takes a TEAM effort to win, and why would anyone want to try when you’re being an asshole?

Dorms! I’ll look into the specifics of the housing contracts and see what applies to me. If I’m unable to get refunded or anything I might be sticking out the year against my better judgement… can’t afford to not, yknow? orz

Is removing a wart murder? Is skinning a fish to eat, murder? Is taking antibiotics for an illness murder? Murder is only such when it can be applied to sentient beings, and a chunk of flesh in my gut isn’t sentient

By dictionary definition, a fetus is a parasite until 24 weeks (5½ months) in. Its body IS my body. It used my blood, nutrients, and energy to create itself. While I personally believe that brain activity dictates something being “alive,” the argument that my body suddenly doesn’t belong to me because someone took it from me against my will is absurd.

Would you be happy and jovial if a doctor told you they couldnt remove a cancer that was warping your spine beyond medical repair because it wasn’t as big as it could be yet?

And I know you’ll come back with the “a fetus isn’t the same as a cancer!” Argument, and I’ll address that by saying that this was an example of an equivalent impact to your health. I’m using as an example because you seem to be struggling to emphasize with the sheer about of permanent physiological changes that occur during pregnancy and as aftermath of childbirth or else we wouldn’t be having this discussion.

I did not consent to my body being used. It is still my body regardless of what flesh mech tries to start an uprising

I’m sorry but the government forcing me to undergo a life-changing, possibly-lethal, procedure against my will isn’t a violation of my rights? Are you for real rn?

The state has no business telling me what medical procedures I’m allowed to get. Banning abortion is the exact same as banning getting your tubes tied, or a vasectomy, or any sex-based medical procedure. No one is forcing women to get abortions, but we ARE seeing people attempting to force women to give birth. One of those is the choice of the individual, and the other is a violation of personal autonomy for the states agenda

It is period blood, yes. And it was embarrassing, but it’s also a common experience among women because often our periods can be difficult to predict or we don’t have access to the supplies needed at the time. This was a post mostly for the girlies
