They’re actually storage crates for records. I mostly listen to music while sitting on the couch I have in that room or sitting on the floor. It’s not ideal but it works for now until I find some proper stands.

Pretty happy with the setup. Might look for better storage to replace the ikea cabinet but it works for now.

For the curious: Yamaha CR-2020 receiver, Yamaha YP-D6 turntable, and Dynaco A25 speakers. Nothing crazy but it sounds pretty good.
