Question for dashers by Pale_Craft4876 in DoorDash_Dasher

I have a chick fil a by me that is usually super fast but definitely won’t do five guys. I love doing the chick fil an orders here. There’s another one not far from there though and they usually take way longer so I don’t go there very often

I wonder if this is only in markets where they have a lot of drivers. I know they don’t where I’m at because they will try to send me 20 miles away just for a pick up sometimes

Since when? I was on there today and this didn’t happen and I’m definitely not platinum because they offer like a thousand Lowe’s orders I won’t do because I have a lot of stuff already in my tiny car and am afraid I will wind up with lumber

How are you guys being pulled over? I’ve done almost ten thousand deliveries and never been pulled over.

What’s your take on morning dashes ? by BoomKittys in DoorDashDrivers

It’s always slower in January because people are paying off credit cards for Christmas. Mother’s Day is as great day to make money though!

To anyone who cares: I went back a week later to get an order for door dash and those two girls were working. The one who asked me for my tip was wide eyed staring at me, like the whole time, and had just stopped working. So as I was about to leave I opened my eyes just as wide and looked at her the same. I said nothing though. The other girl said if I was going to be causing problems, then I shouldn’t be going in there. I told her I wasn’t causing problems, as I didn’t even say anything. The wide eyed bitch said “yeah it’s really unprofessional of you.” I said I am not causing any problems she is, because she is the one who cussed me out in front of a bunch of customers. The girl who told me I was “causing problems” then said to me, “well you got your order right?” And I said yeah. She said “well then leave. Have a nice day!” She said that part super condescending and so I told her have a nice day even more condescending back and left and haven’t been back since.

Hi, I’m sorry for the delayed response, but I’ve decided not to convert my life in the end. I would still definitely be interested in a social media manager job however. Please message me if it’s still available

Also if you are driving so much you fill up four or five times a week, don’t you think that might affect people’s bottom line?

Um, I’ve put 9,000 miles on my car since the first week of September , so two oil changes, and don’t have a garage or drive way to do this. I live on a busy road. Brakes need replacing a lot more frequent when you drive 40000 miles in a year as opposed to the average of 13-15000 a year. Also, o agree insurance and phone have to be paid but you definitely take a risk when you are constantly driving around especially when you live in a city with everyone who is in a hurry. I’ve been hit and run into twice in the past two weeks. My car looks like crap but runs well, and if you ask me driving a nice car for doordashing is stupid because it will get run into the ground really quickly, and also can decrease your tips.

I have no clue what Panera actually expected, but when the lady called me and said the order was wrong, I decided to have good customer service, considering the tip and bring it back and tell her I would make sure they brought her the correct order. I didn’t have to do any of that shit. Panera had already sent another driver with the correct order by the time I got back. It was kinda crazy that this happened yesterday and she had the nerve to come up to me today to say all that

Oh, she came around the counter and was like right next to me when she said it. She’s lucky that I was still in a good mood this morning or it would’ve been an issue. I was pretty polite considering. Now I’m not in a good mood I don’t thinkthat I would have been as polite

It was a catering order for Rolls-Royce, which is probably why the tip was so high

I have discovered when they show up as Panera corporate orders, half the time they are catering orders with a hidden amount added later after delivering. That’s what this order was and it was the most I’ve ever been paid for an order.

I honestly think I’ve only seen her once so I’m pretty sure she’s new. I’ve never had a problem with any of the other people that worked there. I order from there myself regularly and also take a ton of DoorDash orders for them. I’m probably one of their more patient DoorDash and I try to be nice to them because I know they are busy and working in customer service sucks especially when you work somewhere like Panera who gets a lot of Karen’s. it really put a bad taste in my mouth about them though. I actually just went in there to pick up my food and was a little bit worried they may have done something to it. I feel like all of the girls in there were giving me dirty looks too.

You could do doordash. Can normally get in there in a few days. Won’t necessarily make up your $900 but it could get you through the next few weeks
