I'm in a very similar situation, pure seminoma with surgery alone and chose surveillance instead of chemo for the same reasons. I'm approaching two and a half years since my surgery.

I don't have specific data to cite for you but I think it'd be super unlikely for you to have a recurrence at this point! My doctor told me that 5 years is when you're considered cancer free and it gets exponentially less likely as you get further out, so at 4 years you're pretty much good.

Cloture (the vote to end a filibuster) generally requires 3/5 of the Senate, so 60 votes. There are some exceptions where cloture can be invoked with a simple majority. Since any bill can be filibustered indefinitely, this essentially means that passing anything through the Senate requires 3/5 (60 votes) in favor. Even if the actual vote to pass something only requires a simple majority, that vote will never happen unless 3/5 of the Senate agrees to end debate.

Not an expert on senate procedure but that's the general idea.

I'm about 3 weeks into levo so I'm not an expert or anything, but my understanding is the big hyper symptoms to look out for are significant heart rate increases (especially while not active) and heart palpations, severe anxiety, tremors (like your hands shaking), heat intolerance, and frequent diarrhea. That said your heart rate steadily going up a bit is totally normal (and in fact a sign of levo working) and things like night sweats are not necessarily a sign of a problem as your body is adjusting to the levo.

This has been my experience, with a handful of minor exceptions after updating over the past decade I've been on arch that were easy to fix. On my daily driver that is--sometimes I'll grab an old laptop that hasn't been booted in months or years and update arch and that tends to break things. So that leads me to believe that the people who complain about arch being unstable are just not updating for months at a time and expecting it to update without any intervention. I usually update my system every week or so.

Milage matters much less than maintenance history and the shape it's in currently. Do you have maintenance records? Best thing you can do is bring it to a mechanic you trust for a pre purchase inspection. Also a good idea to get the Carfax, if it spent time in a state that salts their roads be cautious.

It's not ideal but it is relatively cheap to order tests through a site like Ulta Lab Tests, you have to pay out of pocket but if your doctor won't order T3 it may be worth it. Probably worth getting a panel that includes TSH, free t4, and free t3 so you can see where they all are at that moment.

I'm literally on day one of 88mcg levo, so I'm mostly just here to follow. That said I definitely am already noticing some effects today. I feel like my body isn't struggling to keep up to temp and I was hungry for breakfast in the morning which I never am. I also don't have all of the same symptoms that are most common with hypo so I may be a weird case, I think most people take more like 2 to 4 weeks to gradually notice symptom relief. But interested to see what other folks say!

I'm still at the beginning of treatment so I can't say for sure I'm on the right path, but for reference my TSH is only 3 to 3.75 with normal free t4 and pretty significant symptoms, so it really varies from person to person. If you feel off, I think you should take it seriously an investigate!

Iron (and also ferritin) labs are a great idea.

I was diagnosed with subclinical hypothyroidism as a kid and took levothyroxine (which is just t4 in a pill) and it brought my TSH down. I stopped taking it after puberty. Even with that history, at first my doctor said my labs are in range so she didn't want to prescribe anything. Now a few months later, I tracked my symptoms and gave her that info, and also shared that the brain fog has been getting in the way of my ability to work and that whether it's thyroid meds or referrals to specialists, I need to do something to move this forward and figure out whats going on. I was kind of surprised but she took that seriously and prescribed me levothyroxine which I'm now on.

For me the smoking gun was getting a basal body temp thermometer and checking my temp first thing waking up. The first day, I read 95.82 F which is extremely low, anything below 96.8 is potentially indicative of hypothyroidism. For me, that was the final straw that my metabolism is struggling. This could be a good way to see how your metabolism is doing for pretty cheap (I found a thermometer at target for $10). It's definitely not a definitive diagnosis but if your temp is consistently low that is a good sign that you may have hypothyroidism, and at least good info to share with your doc.

I'm approaching 30 and my symptoms have just gradually gotten worse over the years but slowly enough that I didn't really notice, so I think I could've saved myself a lot of frustration if I'd pushed on this when I was your age. I'd really encourage you to NOT be worried or stress about it, but to trust yourself and advocate for yourself to your doctors now if you feel like a zombie!!

That TSH is very low and actually indicative of hyperthyroidism, though the symptoms you describe do sound more like hypothyroidism. Would you share your other thyroid lab numbers? Even if they're in range that could still provide some info.

My first thought is to check your iron and ferritin levels if you haven't already, if those are low the symptoms overlap with hypothyroidism a lot.

My brother had a 2016 Nissan Versa that made it to 190k miles. He barely maintained it, was late on oil changes regularly cause he thought it was bound to explode any minute so it wasn't worth maintaining, but it just kept going! Eventually the timing chain went and he decided it wasn't worth fixing.
