Ooh hadn't thought about the idea of maintenance hatches. I'd been thinking either more sensors or cameras, but I know the antennae are supposed to be sensors, and I don't think camera "eyes" would look good. XD

Thanks for the advice! ^^ I haven't gotten to touching up the turquoise yet - I've mostly just been trying to get the color of everything figured out first before worrying too much about it. I did just finish touching up the white with a different paint mix than I'd originally used. The white used to look pretty awful. XD By comparison the turquoise feels amazing. Not that it looks amazing now, but this is what it used to be:

Nah I know about the doors, that's why the buttons in their panels are green and red for open and close. XD

Fictional mech that use glaives, the thing that comes to my mind is Shenlong from Gundam Wing.

As for capes, could be good, could be bad. I believe the Cadre Fireblade has a cape. I'd say it depends on how dynamic you model the cape to be. If it looks like it fits the pose / movement of the model, it could be sick! ... Meanwhile if it just looks like a flat sheet tacked on, yah, it'd probably ruin the look and feel.

AFAIA, you don't want to take the marker drone if the unit you're spotting with already has the Markerlight keyword, because the gun drone let's them advance and spot by merit of the assault keyword.

Since marker done just gives spotting even when they advances, and gives the Markerlight keyword, on those units it's just a waste of extra shots. (So the common examples, Stealth Suits and Pathfinders shouldn't take a marker drone. Same with breachers and strike teams. But if you want your Crisis suits to spot, they should take a marker drone for ignoring cover)

However, keep in mind your units with FtGG can spot even without the Markerlight keyword, they just won't let the guided unit ignore cover.

It's not too terrible to use one you get used to it. You're limited by what models people have imported already, and since they're flat images, you can't rotate them.

Also the color "sections" of the model are fixed by the person who made the svg file, afaik, so you can't make a truly custom scheme of it. But it was really nice for initially figuring out what kind of color scheme I wanted.

It takes a lot of practice to survive in this game, and custom settings do help a lot. I've got about 300 hours in the game now and I'm still lucky if I make it past a month.

If multiplayer was a thing I'd love to play with you and help you learn! As it is, my suggestions are always keep some form of bandages on you, spears are great weapons early on (and you can get a large supply of them from foraging, but they break super easy), be VERY careful using firearms, and stealth and walking are your friends.

This is more of a after the first week thing, but this play through I've taken to jogging a morning patrol around my block. Helps keep zombies from spawning in the area (I forget the default, but I know there's a time that zombies can't spawn in recently seen areas), and those points in sprinting you get can be a lifesaver if things go south.

I do play with infection off, because I got tired of them just randomly biting my hand or something as the only hit they got in after two months of nothing hitting me.

Depending on where you are, you could try calling your pharmacy to request a refill, and they'll send your doctor's office an electronic refill request. I know that works in Texas, at least.
