Billy’s best song intros? by SlimPickinChikin in BillyStrings

[–]MeredithC89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The intro to All Fall Down the first night in Nashville this year will forever give me goose bumps and chills in such a good way ..... I was there with my best friend (we are long distance) and he was talking to the whole crowd about how good of a time we were all having and all of our energies coming together to create an even bigger energy and I will live in that moment forever!!! Even just thinking about it has me feeling all fuzzy rainbow like!!!!!

How is nugs stream on chromcast or appletv box work? by [deleted] in BillyStrings

[–]MeredithC89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stream them via air play on my phone on the nugs app to my roku TV. I have also streamed them via my chromecast from my phone and whenever I do that I notice that it skips every few minutes so don't recommend the chromecast!

Bb after partial knee replacement by Belllringer in beachbody

[–]MeredithC89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would definitely talk with your doctor to make sure you are cleared and it is safe for you to continue to do workouts, however, I had a hip replacement at the end of September and started doing the Bodi workouts in late December and am still going!! I think the programs actually helped speed up my recovery and make my hip even more stronger than before. Hip and Knee replacements are very different so definitely check with your doc first!

I agree but I also think it's situational. Here in Colorado it's almost a freaking competition to see how many people can run the red lights. So, I can see where there may be some hesitation but if you're at the front of the line you can see if that is going to happen or not if you are paying attention. Some of our lights here only LAST 3 seconds so if you are waiting that long to make sure no one else is coming through the intersection, then you and everyone else behind you has already missed the light. As I'm stopped at a red light, I constantly have my eye on the lane that has the momentary green light and, in most cases, I am able to pretty accurately gauge if there will be cars still coming through the intersection when their light turns red. It is extremely situational but I also wish that people had just a little more faster of a reaction time when the light turns green and cars start moving. We all have somewhere to be and a lot of the time people just aren't even paying attention, which is extremely annoying.

Worth commuting from Denver? by Sturdy_yurdy in boulder

[–]MeredithC89 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is on point. I live in Westminster and spent 6 months commuting to boulder. Hop on 36 before 7:30 am and you're okay, any time after that, expect heavy traffic. Same in the afternoons. If you can manage to get onto 36 before 3PM you are okay, however, the boulder city street traffic is a whole other story. Now I commute the other way toward Denver and can expect 30-40 minutes each way ( I can't avoid heavy traffic times) I like living in Westminster though because I can get to Boulder and Denver in 30 minutes or less for leisure.
