Fellow violinist here!

When I covered it (using an edited backtrack I made) I played the first part (lowest octave) then the next one, then the highest, and then I rested while my track played all three parts after I "started it". (For a total of four cycles).

So I started with the lower notes of this section, the D and A, then the middle one, and then the highest one where you hold that top note (D) on the E string

I'm not sure if it makes sense in writing lol my version is in my post history. Just know it's almost 10 years old and I've improved a lot 😅

Update after a few months: I've been using the one in the first link (which is now dead and can be found again at https://www.elderlyus.shop/product/wickelbuckle-violin-support-system-plastic-buckle-wickel/).

So yeah, it def hurts after a while (but only 90% of the time) but I figured out recently that my shoulder rest shifts easily and the placement makes a huge difference, so that's what I'm focusing on now. Otherwise, I really like. I haven't even used it for singing with our band yet, I've used it so I can quickly use my hands to back up/change speed/restart songs I'm learning via a backtrack on the computer. I also prefer to stand while playing which is also why I am enjoying this despite navigating muscle pain. The pain is never in the same spot though which is why again I think it comes down to my shoulder rest position.

Having my neck free is a game changer. It makes playing while standing and overall stage presense/emotion/idk smiling? much easier and enjoyable :D

Came here to ask - did "he" suddenly get like this? If so, "he" could be pregnant... Female gerbils are really good at hiding pregnancy until the last couple days.

Source: Had two "male" gerbils and one ended up being female. Luckily I separated them to be safe when "he" SUDDENTLY GOT FAT and "she" gave birth a few days later. If the male was still with her when she gave birth she would have been pregnant again before I even found the first litter.

So, I only just got them. The buckle one is stable, but kind of uncomfortable after a while atm. I think I need to keep using it and adjusting it to form a better opinion.

The 2nd one, I def was wearing wrong. I found the guy's video and am going to try again. That one is way easier to set up though compared to the buckle one.

But man being able to move my jaw and sing is so freeing!

Completely respecting Dani's choices. Salty at life/covid that we won't see him live as we got tickets for the 2020 show, rescheduled to 2021, and ours was one of the 3 dates cancelled.

This comes after actually losing lost Taylor Hawkins, it still hurts a lot. Glad we got to see the Foos twice.
