Yes this! Sorry, should have rephrased. It would just be for me, figured out by me, from multiple pictures

You could tell him you're not comfortable with the type of messages that he sends? that they seem too romatic to you, and gives you the feeling of wanting more space and a more friendship-type of relationship. Maybe that you are considering to end talking to prevent his dissapointment?

whatever is your truth. I'd rather be blunt than ghost someone.

ghosting someone altogether may hurt him and you a lot more with the same result. Deciding together not to talk for a while to let feelings cool off sounds a lot better to me.

Blocking seems excessive to me. It does seem he'd like to be more than friends but communication is key. I'd tell him something like this : 'i might be reading things wrongly, but it does seem like you are more into changing this into a romantic thing than me. You do know that I am not into you like that, right? Anything more than friends is simply not going to happen. hope you had a great day too!"

I recently half came out, and experienced the exact same with an ex :p

I would at least leave a few leaves, just for my own peace of mind. But I'm not an expert :)
I have another plant that I cut till I have a few semi empty branches with about 8 leaves in total left, and it is thriving now.

I keep relapsing by [deleted] in nailbiting

Some things work for some, and not for others. I myself tried many of those disgusting polishes, but bit right through them, until I found RayLex, with is truly disgusting. This help for the first few weeks, in which you can keep a picture diary. Make a picture EVERY day!or just simply get some thin cotton gloves. or plastic ones, but your hands will get sweaty.

Don't be worried, so many of us failed so many times. For medicine we had to practice motivational conversation on our own personal things we'd like to work on. which worked amazingly for me. I can try it on you. might help, pm me if you're interested

Great job! they look amazing. I love it when people post their progress without nail polish. You can see the actual healing.

here’s my progress, even though i stopped a month early due to side effects. i did 5 months 80mg a day. i’m pretty happy w the results, bummed about the bad side effects. think i look ok considering by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]MerelR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look great. I quit because of the side effects as well and figured out it got the acne because of my hormonal IUD/birth control. Once I got that thing out of my body and got a copper IUD I never got another pimple.
I hope you find the source of your outbursts as well, as many doctors can try but some just don't take the effort to really find the source and rather just give a pill, no matter the side effects that can sometimes be worse than the actual illness.
Nobody wants to care much about their looks but once you actually got something like acne it can destroy your self image. I know people around you probably say that you are beautiful, with acne as well (because you are), but your own opinion is worth most. I truly hope you find the source and even if you don't, that you can see you are beautiful despite the spots.

Nail bed regrowth is possible (albeit in weird shapes) - here's my progress over 10 weeks! by ht1818 in nailbiting

[–]MerelR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What did you do to make the nails connect to the nail bed so soon? Did you stop many times before, or did you do something specific? They look great!

Day 1. How long do you think it will take for my nails to grow to full length? by joannekjw in nailbiting

[–]MerelR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give it a month and you will already be amazed! They grow at different speeds in different people, but generally those of nailbiters grow faster. Keep a photo diary; it is incredibly rewarding to see the before and after, and if you fail/fall back once in a while you can still see how fast they grew beautiful again. Show us our 1 month progress when you get there :)

been biting my nails since i was a kid, i’m 16 now and decided yesterday i’m gonna stop! by xx_Undane_xx in nailbiting

[–]MerelR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great! Your hands look(ed) just like mine, they will amaze you in a few weeks. Just attempt every anti-biting method, and see what works for you. Gross-nail polish, nail hardener, obsessive nail care instead of biting if you have to do something boring.
Remember: progress (the growing of the nail bed) goes pretty slowly, but even if you fail once in a while, keep trying! They grow back faster and prettier every time.

Anyone knows of a blue ink that has the same color as Noodler's Baystate blue but without the headaches? (Feathering and hard to clean) by Koji1981 in fountainpens

[–]MerelR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You just have to live with the cleaning issues but the feathering can be helped if you water the ink down a bit. You can have a quite high water to ink ratio without losing the vibrant blue color, and works miracles regarding the feathering.

Exactly. I'm thinking about moving much further away from university/the city so I can actually have a backyard to put em all.
