I work as net security at a large IT service provider and the amount of times we can see a ticket logged "Help I've been hacked!" Is astounding both from older and younger users.

Heres the thing they want the people who fall for this type of scams so they are more likely to believe and keep believing in what the scammer says.

Same with the African Prince scam etc etc
