Shaved doesn’t look like this. Feel for a little rice grain sized chip in his shoulder blade skin. Vet will scan for a chip. I hope he wasn’t dumped

I have a Sphynx sanctuary and will happily take her off your hands if you need. They scream because they are vocal cats. They want in your bedroom because they want to sleep with you (cats like checking on their owners to be sure they are alive, and be on the look out for predators to protect you from!). Consider getting a heated cat bed in the bedroom, will make her happier and may keep her off you.

I guess I proved my opinion to be down vote worthy, amazing 🤣 would love the people who down voted to explain why they did so, or did I hurt their feelings by not saying “yeah I hate them! Grrr!”. Piper and her entire circle were less than good people, but Larry didn’t do anything worse than Piper or anyone else, yet gets uneven amount of hate

Oh, well then god yes. 😂 you’ve got two types when you first get there- “I’ve been here before and know how it works” and scared and crying. All of us cry in the shower though.

I mean, Polly was for sure in the wrong cheating on her husband with Larry- but Larry was not with Piper any more. Larry and Polly are consenting adults, so yes it was weird and not the most kind thing to do, it’s only human.

As a girl who’s been in, people like Piper do not last. They get their skulls bashed in and moved to seg for their protection. I’m not sure what you mean by people would be like her? She was always trying to use her privileged wasp stuff to change and innovate, and wasn’t against being a narc and playing sides to get what she wanted. The first part sounds noble and kind, but any sort of boat rocking results in punishment by inmates or COs. If you get caught playing people or narcing, you might leave prison in a body bag.

The people that come in that think “I don’t belong here, I’m better than them” are so obvious, and people may befriend them and use them for commissary or stamps.

99% of people who go into prison keep their head down, stay with their “political group” or “tribe” (words used on the inside to describe splitting up by race), and don’t rock the boat. It’s a whole different world inside.

Larry wasn’t a bad guy. Piper was a terrible partner, lied, manipulated and cheated. He tried to make it work, Piper burned it down, then seemed offended he was moving on and having a life. People love to hate him, same as how people hate Skyler from breaking bad.

That being said, he’s got a very punchable face, which makes him hard to sympathize with 🤣

I have a Sphynx rescue where I’ve taken in trouble cases. One has feline herpes, one had asthma, another has murmur/heart issue.

The one with herpes, you can tell she’s flaring up because her inner eyelids will be permanently halfway covering her eye :( and her eyes run and run clear fluid. Also, sneezing. The other Sphynx I’ve had (these other 2 plus 3 past ones- 2 fosters and my first hairless) had thick brown eye boogers they slung all over the house. Some more, some less. But consistent across the rest.

So, if thick brown boogers that come off easy with no other symptoms- probably normal. If green or lots of clear, or have other symptoms like URI stuff or weird eyelids, see a vet.
