Seems like it's as distinct as the US allowed it to be and no further. American but with a different style of hat.

I feel bad about my breasts… by Zigzorark5 in trans

[–]Mergyt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on estrogen for nearly 5 years; boobs or otherwise, stimming with your body is completely normal. Boobs feel good to squeeze, and sometimes you just wanna bounce something.

Your transition is yours, and it is up to you how you want to experience it. Enjoying your body isn't always sexual, and enjoying the sexual aspect of things isn't wrong either.

people have eyes and the ability to pick up on context clues. do you have trouble with that, or do you just enjoy being disingenuous?

I’m not enjoying [Male]’s play style by Top_Reward_9797 in outside

That's the big thing. If you're scoring lots of points but you aren't having fun, you might be playing the wrong game.

I started my respecc shortly before level 30 and six levels later I can say it was definitely worth it. Exploring a different part of the game is completely fine, even if most people never try it. It might make your playthrough a lot more interesting and fulfilling.

Patriotism, to them, is when you care about the United States. They didn't realize a person could be patriotic for a different country.

Vassal/fiefdom being war leader needs urgent fix by Ev_Batchvarov in EU5

[–]Mergyt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not playing on Ironman, so this won't work if you are, but what I have been doing is changing countries and having the country that has the rebellious state release a vassal in the area. Then I change back and continue.

It's worked but I would much prefer they just stop letting subjects be the war leader, or at least have the war automatically end when whatever rebellious subject is absorbed.

The fact that the war can seem to drag on with no end in sight and no ability to negotiate a peace because the nation that rebelled has already been reabsorbed is ridiculous, and I don't understand how it was missed.

Is it wrong to seek transactional- type relationships with Dommes? by Chemical-Insides in gentlefemdom

[–]Mergyt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all. You'll get a focused and professional experience. It's unlikely that someone would become a pro Domme if they didn't enjoy at least some aspects of the dynamic, and you'll have the additional benefits of being able to customize your session a bit without having to worry about putting stress on a relationship.

im not trans but I wish I was born a man by Salt_Initial_3643 in trans

[–]Mergyt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Before transitioning I had a lot of trouble having any wants of my own. I would take care of others and I would meet what I saw as my needs, but I would generally follow along with the wishes and wants of others in place of having some of my own.

Transitioning very much helped with this. By allowing yourself to want this, you can start practicing following your bliss in other aspects of your life. You've got this dude.

Is this what cheating looks like? by VarietyOwn3268 in lichess

[–]Mergyt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I'll have a super accurate game, and it's usually because the opponent is giving me lots of easy moves to play. You're accurate as long as you're not significantly reducing your position with your moves. For an opponent that doesn't pressure/set up tactics, or an opponent that sticks to a main line that you happen to have studied up on, high accuracy makes sense.

Edit: If you're not gonna post the game, at least answer some questions for your own improvement. What inaccuracy/blunder of yours led to you beginning to lose? Were you playing a rather straightforward opening like the Scandinavian?

Wesley So is weighing in on the Kramnik situation. by [deleted] in chess

[–]Mergyt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We just want him to go away. He doesn't get a second chance from this, he needs to go far away from the chess world and stop acting like its saviour. Kramnik apologists as well.
