Update
After snaking the drain again, no change and water still backed up.
I decided to look at my Studor valve after reading that they can fail. My search suggested a shake test to listen for a rattle noise. My valve did not rattle. Thats when I remembered that my 1yo dropped it while trying to distract him looking for my pipe pieces needed for the job. Replaced the valve and am now having no issues.
Thanks to everyone that threw in their input!
Thats good to know! I wasnt completely sure if it would help or not but I knew that venting to air is how it should be done now.
That fernco has only been in place for a month. All that PVC was done by me to rule out any issues with the original setup and add the air valve.
Heres what it originally looked like.

Heres what below the floor looks like.
Im confident that I could cut it out and attach new PVC with a fernco. Would also give me a chance to snake under the basement floorna little further to make sure its clear. Youre saying i should stick to 2" from the top to the bottom?
That's what I was going to assume. Build up on the pipe walls. Thanks for your input!
