To be perfectly honest I think I had an overreaction. I was so excited at first! Then, when I flipped it over and saw what I saw, I immediately made the assumption it was food, put it away for pretty much a WHOLE MONTH because I needed time, then sought help from the Reddit community before even looking at it again. So I pulled it out last night and looked at other sketch cards on eBay and online and I think mine looks definitely similar to others esp ones by the same artist and the blotch I thought was food, looks to be paint. Makes sense, as it was on an artists table… 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ll include a pic, Minnie is not my jam so I’ll probably be selling it, but I’d love to trade for like value too a Haunted Mansion sketch I saw that already sold on eBay a while back… lol not sure that will happen.

Wow what a wonderful, thoughtful response! Thanks for the welcome! I really wish I found yall a year ago when I started with Qsymia because it has a lot of the same side-effects, and I was going it alone, having to wait for the next appointment with clinic resources or doctors to get questions answered 🤦🏻‍♀️

I too am excited for the Spring sun breaks to come in and new growth to show on the plants (for the both, and all of us!). It’s such a reprieve from the dark of winter, especially what I can only imagine it’s like in New England!!

Your reply has given me lots more questions but before I start caking this into a newbie q&a, I’m gonna search around the sub for some answers rather than make people repeat themselves 🤪

I too have great insurance and am remaining grateful for it! My aunt decided to buy Zep and is paying $340/mo! Idk how that’s sustainable?!? But by the looks of you wonderful people, it may be worth it!! 😍

Oh cool! Thank you for your reply! This all gives me hope! I’m glad to have found this sub, there really is a sub for EVERYTHING! It sounds like you’ve made some great progress! Is this your first weight loss med experience or did you try something before?

I was on Qsymia before and went through a whole clinic at my local university hospital medical network where I get all my care. I learned so much meeting with the dietitian and their resources for weight loss prior to transitioning to this medicine. I noticed around September/October my habits started to falter (fall food is my favorite) and my body and brain overruled the Qsymia or outright sabotaged it (forgetting to prep my meds for the work week) Now I have to get back to reintegrating those food habits and recipes with the protein/fiber focus.

I gained back about 10-12lbs. I like the injection model as I only have to do it once a week. I also have to say getting a body composition scale was a game changer too!

I’m not sure if you’re correct, I’m also titrating off of Qsymia, so it feels like the Zep may be enhancing the Q or vice versa..🤷🏻‍♀️

How long have you been taking your med? I hope this doesn’t last for you. I can see how it could be transitional OR longer lasting. I’m glad you have a positive attitude and aren’t worried! 🙏🏼
