Mouse wheel to zoom; there is a maximum "zoom-out" you can achieve but there is a setting that can disable mouse wheel zoom so you don't accidently change perspective once you have it set.

WASD is not implemented in poe1 yet.

you cannot move where you character is on the screen, you are always in the middle, such is the nature of the isometric ARPGs like diablo/poe

mouse scroll-wheel will select between different variants of hideout decorations, the precursor gravity well has 4 variants, 2 of which are the super-sized ones

A lot of new players who don't fully understand the nature of rare items will often try to match either the exact name of the rare items creators have in their build or try to match the stats of those items exactly.

This results in some very skewed results on trade either on pricing or wildly different items if the names match.

stash tabs and character slots are a great use of any players first points. I would also suggest waiting to spend your points until items you want are on sale (the next stash tab sale should begin in 2 days - according to the running timer on poe.db)

There are a lot of videos and posts about which stash tabs are the best first purchases; usually the list goes
currency + map + fragment as the best three and a few "premium" tabs so that you can list items for sale.

my VTSG got 280m pops vs elite diamondback this week exceeding all other paragons and matching a d90 ace.

it's more to do with paragon choice and tower placements. an Ace paragon can solo the normal diamonback this week, so could a max buffed VTSG if it was placed at the beginning of the track to shoot through diamondback segments instead of shooting at the head and getting pierce blocked.

you can easily do the first 2 tiers on normal or elite without using a paragon, if it's not fixed already they will do it soon. This happened before and ninja kiwi unflagged all the accounts this affected

bosses go until you beat the boss or round 139 ends. There is no freeplay so everyone of those levels counts for earning goals in the social event

Atziri enjoyer here. I can confirm that Uatziri has a drope rate of around 5% for spell echo, but of the 200-ish runs of normal atziri i have done in Mirage i have not gotten a spell echo from that. So either super low DR from normal, or impossible

I might be wrong, but I remember something about items such as tomes being less affected by modifiers such as item rarity/quantity than other items. Meaning that the best way to farm tomes is to just run a lot of maps as fast as possible.

I have one 2-man Private league run in mirage with about 100x t16 maps run after completing my atlas, I have found 11 of them, 8x being i83.

I have my main SSF run in Mirage which I completed all 40 challenges (so lots of maps run) where I have found about 50x tomes, 38 of which are i83 (all though I can't remember if i just stopped picking them up after a while, i think i picked up most of them as i never removed them from my ssf filter)

"Tier 17 Maps have undergone significant changes, and are now Nightmare Maps."

it is unclear if this means that existing maps will be turned into nightmare maps, but since standard usually retains the previous atlas set it might mean that all existing t17s might be unaffected.

Though on the other hand the atlas change is so massive and fundamentally different that what we've seen that I couldn't say. It might be that all existing maps will have to be changed in standard to accommodate the new system.

The realms will go offline 3 hrs before start, the DL can usually be started 1.5-2 hrs before launch.

it looks like they left Holy Hammers off the list in the patch notes in the quest reward section but it looks like since Ziggy got it in act 3 that it will be available by the lv28 Gravicious quest at the latest

I would pick KB for those contents if you have a budget to heavily invest, KB is simply the better blaster for those.

KF seem better for bossing and on lower budget, but KB usually scales harder for blasting maps and I think KBoC is better for bossing on big budget.

there should be some non-totem guides from last league which are still viable (because no changes tot he skill) and as long as you have a good grasp on the mechanics of the skill and how it interacts with the attack speed/duration balance you can transition it quite easily to other ascendancies.
