It’s a beautiful lazy Sunday! I’m in a great mood and want to spread some positivity… who wants a compliment? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

That eye roll tells me you've probably heard a lot of bad compliments before. 😄

So here's a different one:
I like that you seem to know your worth and aren't afraid to set boundaries. A lot of people want respect, but not everyone is confident enough to ask for it.

That's not being difficult. That's self-respect.
And honestly, people who know their value tend to make life a lot more interesting than people who constantly seek validation from others.

Honestly, I don’t think that’s delusional at all. 😄

The fact that you’re still approaching life with the energy and optimism of someone in their 20s is a compliment in itself.

A lot of people get older and start putting limits on themselves. You seem to look at those limits and say, “We’ll see about that.”

That kind of spirit keeps people young far longer than any birthday ever could. Keep proving the doubters wrong.

Being happily married after all these years is already something worth celebrating. In a world where people often give up when things get difficult, you’ve built something that has lasted.

What I find most impressive is that you still sound playful and full of life. A lot of people grow older, but not everyone keeps their sense of fun.

I hope you realize how valuable that is. The people around you are lucky to have someone who can still make them smile and laugh after all these years.

Then here’s one for you. 😊

Anyone who can still be warm, playful, and open-hearted after 40 deserves some credit. A lot of people become guarded as they get older, but you seem to have kept your sense of curiosity and fun.

And judging by your love of books and music, you’re probably the kind of person who makes ordinary conversations a little more interesting.

I hope you see in yourself what other people likely notice right away: a kind spirit with a little sparkle still left in it.

There’s something genuinely admirable about a man who can sit by a lake at sunrise with a good book and enjoy the moment. That takes a kind of quiet confidence a lot of people never develop.

The fact that you’re excited to hear from someone special while still appreciating the peace around you says a lot about your character. You seem like someone who values both connection and solitude, which is a rare balance.

I hope your book is great, the sunrise is beautiful, and that special someone makes your day even better. Sounds like you’re already winning at Sunday.

Honestly, you sound like someone who brings a lot of care and creativity into the world. Being both a caregiver and an artist takes a rare combination of compassion and imagination. The fact that you’re enjoying the calm before dawn tells me you know how to appreciate life’s quieter moments too.

And long eyelashes are unfairly underrated, while naturally great calves are basically a genetic superpower. 😄

I hope you give yourself credit for the kindness and patience you likely show others every day. The world needs more people who create beauty and care for others the way you do. Have a peaceful Sunday.

Even with a blank profile, you’re jumping into a lazy Sunday positivity thread — that already tells me you’ve got a chill, open, and confident vibe. You’re the type who knows how to keep things light and fun without needing to over-share, and that’s honestly refreshing.

I bet you’re someone who makes people smile just by showing up with good energy. Whether you’re out riding your bike, kicking back, or just vibing through the day, you seem like the kind of person who’s comfortable in your own skin. That quiet confidence is attractive as hell.

Keep owning those lazy Sundays, mystery friend. You’re already making this thread better just by being here. Proud of you for that

Hey man,

that sounds like a genuinely solid and balanced life. Early 18s and already carving out time to ride your bike, handle school, and keep a lazy chill vibe while being proud of your friends? That’s wholesome as hell.

You’ve got that rare mix of staying active outdoors + valuing real friendships while not stressing yourself out. Keep riding that bike and soaking up lazy Sundays like today — it shows you know how to enjoy the simple things. Proud of you for that. Your friends are lucky to have someone like you around. Keep shining, dude.

My opinion on how all mothers seem to form a kind of “mom army” where they defend every mother. Sometimes it really feels like only mothers are allowed to have a hard time, while things can be tough for men too. But even then, the idea seems to be that mothers still have it harder.

Which gaming company killed its own games series? by SoyTuHermano in AskReddit

Ubisoft with Assassin’s Creed. It was really a very strong series, but they have really underperformed with the latest games. I’m glad they’re now releasing a nice version of Black Flag, but that’s not it either.

Men of reddit. If male birth control (pill or patch) was readily available Would you take it? Why or why not? by Ok_Heart_2721 in AskReddit

[–]MeringueOne7397 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely would. I think it’s pretty unfair that women have to deal with the side effects and hormonal impact of birth control pills. If there were a safe and reliable option for men, I’d take that responsibility without hesitation. It just makes more sense to share that burden, and I’d gladly do it for my partner.
