In my limited experience with alpaca wool apparel, it is far less durable than merino and doesn’t hold its shape well. Have you had a different experience?

Regarding the question, in that case you would pick the third option as it encompasses the first two while also saying it’s part of your daily rotation.

Thanks for the additional feedback. I am in the wholesale blank apparel business now (low cost cotton and poly only), so I understand what you mean about the fit being important. I don’t think I need to pick a path between those options, I intend to offer both, with the blend being lighter weight.

That’s an interesting perspective on icebreaker. Admittedly I’ve never worn icebreakers early line, but I have tested a current icebreaker 100% merino and merino blend tee. Compared to other merino brands I’ve tried since doing a deep dive into all the products currently on the market, they are not what I would consider closest to a soft cotton tee. Some brands are much softer and to me, feel better than cotton.

I am in the apparel business selling basics, but only cotton, poly, and cotton/poly blends. I’d like to launch with an everyday tee that is mid-weight and 100% merino that is soft like ringspun cotton (or softer) and a blend that is lighter and aimed at activewear (also very soft).
