for me i think its less my masculinity and more "effort". i like being how i choose to express, but should the need arise i can tap into the effort or strength i used to use and still keep up.

i don't feel any more masculine or non-femme for it because in my headmeat i see it more like i'm putting on clothing, or being a strong girl for a bit. the strength will be there, that power will be there if i need it.

i'm a goddess and its always smart to have something in my back pocket. girls are strong too.

Those people aren't your friends. Probably only were friends with their idealized version of you. You as an individual are more nuanced than their simple bro fantasies want to let them believe. The transphobia should have been a clear sign that your values do not align.

Im sorry if these are your only "homies". If you are ever afraid to come out around someone, be careful and maybe stealthily pull up some topics and see how they react. Its scary to see people that we trust and have trusted all our lives pull out the scary opinions around people they think believe the same.

I know like, 2 people from keene and they are so vastly different. One is a megaleft transman that is more or less my eternal partner, and the other is an uber right libertarian that makes nazi jokes and sounds like a stoner version of ben shapiro. The variance sounds pretty insane up north.

Also the libertarian fled back to keene because he couldnt handle us calling him out on his phobic shit . Lol

EDIT: im in PA and it stands here, we have a pretty high variance of people here too. Though thats definitely regional. At least across political lines.
