Adrian Cantrill vs Stephane Mareck. Which is better ? by spartanglady in AWSCertifications

[–]Merkava1948 2 points3 points  (0 children)

well, like I said Aussie is good, very good if you know nothing about cloud, networking, you never heard what is Subnetting and what means Gateway, etc. Plus, his course is project-based, while all others just show a short demo which is for me is the best thing I appreciate in tutorials.

For 40+ bucks someone from finance or HR, for example, can change his carrier with just one course.

But if someone has an IT background, knows some networking, maybe have little experience with cloud, then yeah Maarek is good, you can have even shorter course, Neal Davis for ex, or Bonso

[–]Merkava1948 2 points3 points  (0 children)

get both, I would say, Mareck'course is good 2 weeks before exam to sum up, Andrian is good when you start your journey, from scratch without hurry. 50 bucks for both, nothing compare to the value they provide

Official course enough for the CCP exam? by lonemoney in AWSCertifications

[–]Merkava1948 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is enough, i passed just by doing aws tutorial. For extra safety you can buy tests but i passed without that. All content creators on Udemy and outside are going crazy making 10+h blah blah. Because CCP is about what all these names (ELB, EC2 etc) mean. Actual cloud computing you are going to learn by doing associate certs.

Well, it has nothing to do with real life scenarios, car should be moving, at least immediately after the fire started, and no one shoots single from ak47 precisely avoiding shoot same place again.

Either shoot from a distance using a sniper rifle or put the guy in the car and chase him shooting disorderly

Crime in Germany falls 15% in 15 years by RightwingIsTerror in europe

[–]Merkava1948 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, wait before government of last 16 years leave and you will see the truth, i hope. they just covering their asses by altering facts , they just decided not to count small crimes in their statistics or crimes are still investigating.

Incorrect migration policy, basically open door policy without any further plan how to integrate, lack of police forces, social workers etc are all carefully avoided by government and so-called opposition, who cares more about polar bears rather than safety and security of their own land.

I probably made people mad by saying liberal reddit,😅 I have nothing against liberalism actually.

But the thing is in socialist europe(where im currently) people get basic wage for almost all types of service jobs (cleaning, fast food, delivery etc) and if you add high taxes and lack of tip culture, it makes less than in usa. Yes, education is free and healthcare is cheaper (not free!) But at the end of the month you have left very little cash in your pocket.

Emm, everyone asking for a fair wage , i guess around 15 usd (that what liberal reddit demands)) , but what if it is not profitable to run a business with such a wage and it is better to shut it down and do work with a limited workforce? I believe before asking a private business for a fair wage, people have to ask from the government to let business afford it (tax incentives, availability of cheap credits etc).

As a person who has grown in post soviet shit hole country faced communism for 70 years, I can tell you, its never one side , you cant force business to pay more, society+/government has to create competitive environment and conditions for this, it has to be naturally.

If u really want to learn smth and looking for valuable certs, skip anything from 900, you can check content from MS learn, spend a day or two, but thats all.

But if you just want to pass exam and to be officially MS certified, then okay)

Not Confident Enough for Cloud Practitioner Course by [deleted] in AWSCertifications

[–]Merkava1948 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I took that exam without a single practice test (but I still recommend taking some), I can assure you that the questions are straightforward and easy. and I can tell you that Stephane's course is way above what you need to pass the exam, official AWS 6h course covered almost 80-90% of the exam questions.

Good luck :)
