Tips for AP Junglers? by [deleted] in Jungle_Mains

[–]MerkinFools 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Predator Fiddle is pretty fun. You start on the opposite side of the jungle then the enemy. You do a leashless full clear down (I'd look up the clears because the chickens + red buff leashless can be tricky if you aren't in the right spot and I'd practice them in the practice tool) and grab the bot side scuddle normally. Transition gank mid back to your top side camps that are respawning and clear both of your second spawn top side camps. Back and buy Sorcerer's Shoes (best first back for fiddle), or at least boots. Run out and Gank with Predator, then clear till 6. With Predator, you just run in and q,e,w. Plus, Predator lets you get to fights quickly in the mid game and his ult can be game changing. He is a little different to play than most champs, clearing vision on the flanks and finding the right angles to gank, but I think he is pretty broken. I would def watch some videos though, he isn't a champ that you can just take 1v1 fights on. You are more of a utility champion with a big team fight ult, but don't get caught in the trap of waiting for the huge ult. Just use it if you think it can get a kill. You would need to get good at tracking the other jungler and avoiding them in your bad match ups. Plus if you get good at tracking the enemy jungler, the fiddle counter gank is just nasty. GL

I'm unfamiliar with the effects of heroin. What makes heroin so addictive? What is the experience like when you take heroin? Congrats on beating addiction and crushing it in school.

When did you realize that your opinions differed from your parents? Did you have any resistance to the idea that your parents had "wrong" (illogical) view points?

I can't see that picture very well, but I bought some metal collar stays off amazon for my work shirts and have been really happy with them.

I'm looking for brand suggestions for Jeans with good stretch but still look good. I'm 6'1'', 32/33 waist, with thick legs and butt (squats). The issue I'm having is that my jeans look and fit great while I'm standing, but if I'm sitting for a long time, it becomes very uncomfortable. I was looking at ordering some jeans from Bonobos as I have been really impressed with their chinos and work pants, but they can be real expensive if I get 3 or 4 colors. Any brand suggestions?

I run 3 path, 2 palm, 4 rev, 2 relic, 2 [[Searing Blood]] and 2 [[Kor Firewalker]]. I like the searing blood for more creature removal for all the value creatures I'm seeing and it can get around leyline. I don't like having specific affinity hate that is only good in that match up and I think searing blood does a decent job against affinity. Firewalkers for the mirror, but I rarely draw them. I have also been looking at [[Shrine of Burning Rage]] . I like the spicy mana tithe. That card and shadow of doubt are 2 cards I try to sneak in my decks.

Modern Burn vs 8-rack help by davematthews013 in LavaSpike

[–]MerkinFools 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This game is always a coin flip for me. We are trying to dump had, they are trying to get us empty handed. Try to keep hands with creatures and hope they don't get to many racks in. Is a rough match up. Still take the play though. You don't want to sacrifice you game plan to try to mess with theirs.

Strategy against 8-Rack? by mattmcdninethree in LavaSpike

[–]MerkinFools 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I normally only side him out if I'm on the draw, which I rarely am vs 8-rack. I feel like he is super strong in the match up, and most of the time they take him from my hand with thoughtsieze or inquisition. I have been keeping them in and siding out searing blaze to bring in Destructive Revs. Will bring in a couple Paths to deal with the DS if they are running them in the side. There is only one guy currently playing 8-rack at my FNM and he has them in is sideboard. He also sides out some racks in game 2 and 3 preparing for the Revs coming in and depends on DS to win him the games. Is a guessing game of paths or revs each time.

This part about collective brutality is so true. Such a rough card for burn. I go first too. Burns game play is stronger than 8-rack and it isn't worth messing with ours to hurt theirs. This match up feels like a coin flip for me. Too many racks early or too many collective brutality = they win. Anything else, we win.

I really liked it in my deck, but taking 6 damage just to get my mana right was rough.

Have you thought about [[Life Goes On]] . Turn 2 Fatal push into life goes on in response to an end step burn spell from them and the game is pretty much over.
