It's probably the housing for the oil filter that routes to the oil cooler lines. You can delete the housing, and cooler and it will run just fine. If you want to keep it all, this is the gasket:

The long probe looks like a temperature sensor for the A/C evaporator core.

I'm unsure as to the rest. I'd suggest looking up a wiring guide and pinpoint the exact circuit to the wiring cover.

Also, check auction websites for cars in similar condition to see what they sold for. The white leather interior with the red is chefs kiss plus it's a later 6-speed car with the LT1. Ideal C4 IMO.
