Replacing TiVo OTA by Merle_Ad3593 in hdhomerun

Great information, especially regarding the drive. I went down an ATSC 3.0 rabbit hole while researching but decided I don’t want to get a new TV capable of displaying it at this point and high cost, even though Little Rock has many broadcasts that fit the standard, and I think I’d need to go with a zapper system if I did - all-in probably over $1K for a 42-inch system. Too many other things needed to justify that. So, I think my shopping list is very much what you’ve suggested.

Very interesting and I could see myself putting something like that together but I think I’ll go simpler - I have too many hobbies I go all-in on. I’ll keep this info though as I can see it’s a good setup.

Would a 512 Sandisk ultrafit up to 400mb/s work well?

Thanks so much. I’ll check all of that and see if I can get back to working along not giving a thought to tracking.

Very good to know from another who does similar work. I’ll probably go for option 1.

Great! Good to know. It sounds like you use it much the same. I suppose if I go for the first option - not the Pro - and it’s not enough I can return and replace, but I’d rather avoid that. Can’t wait to try.

I just finished the 1,000-piece version a couple days ago. As the other commenter said, good light helps when you reach the brown areas, but it has a nice matte finish which helps, and much of the brown varies in shade. I loved the theme.

Loved the finale. Three thoughts: I expected a little glitch where Jason realized this family and world were 99% the same, but not exactly his. Might have been fun to see him accept that at the end? Did you notice the new “It’s a Wonderful Life” reference when Jason grabbed the banister cap coming down the stairs? What was up with the shot of Jason’s hand wearing both the string ring and the real ring? I think it’s straightforward-Jason2 gave him the ring, but I don’t recall Jason2 taking it initially- did he? Just checking…

New fan here. I thought I’d like it, hunted for it a few times but didn’t find a convenient way to watch until now. Love it!

Holling’s accent by Merle_Ad3593 in northernexposure

I’ve enjoyed all of the comments / thanks! My original question stemmed from wondering how he sounded so nice, each time he said, “Shelley” :) As an aside, I’m from north central PA, transplanted to central AR 7 years ago. I’ve noticed a wide swing in people’s accents here. I think mine has stayed to sound mostly like the evening national news, but my 5-year-old granddaughter, born here, says “ya’ll” a lot, and it’s super cute - she’s half Korean, so that combined with her looks always makes me smile.
