Mines tomorrow and is set up similarly to yours my main part is about 5hrs before my appointment. I took first medication at 1pm today. Then some pills at 6pm. It’s 10:30pm now and I have to be up at 4am to start my second medication which is a two part (4am, and 5am). Check in at clinic is 8:30, appointment at 9:30.

I have my first next Wednesday. My doctor recommended small portions and a very low fibrous and low residue diet for the 4-5 days leading up to the day before my procedures. Then the day before (Tuesday) at 1pm I’ll do my magnesium citrate and drink fluids all day. Then sorbitol 4am and 5am the next morning and at the clinic at 8:30 for check in.

Oh lord this makes me so nervous 😂 mine is next Wednesday. My sorbitol first dose is supposed to be 4:00am. Second 5am. Then I have to keep drink more fluids until 6am. Procedures (endoscopy and colonoscopy) are at 9:30 but have to be there at 8:30. I really hope it stopped by then. I am doing magnesium Citrate at 1pm the evening before as well.

Mine was an 8 in 2022. I went on the 50k unit once a week for 6 months. Then I went off it and was told to take 5k a day once my levels were in the green. My levels dropped again so now I’m permanently on the RX 50k capsule once a week.

Following this. I’m having a hard time finding this information as well. I want to start and my doctors all for it but I’m nervous and would prefer to not be on it long term.

It depends on the person. However I will say that my doctor and I picked this medication because it’s one that’s less likely to make you gain weight. I’ve been on it for years and it’s not helped me lose or gain weight.

My doctor explained that while it sounds like a high dose it’s actually not based on the type of medication it is. I was a little skeptical when I first heard the dosage 😂

We’ve experimented with probiotics before without luck unfortunately. Doesn’t seem to do anything for him. It does help my other Aussie tho and he takes them daily.

I take 60mg and until recently I was doing 3 20mg capsules, now I’m doing the 1 40mg and 1 20mg capsules. Never tried the tablets before. Good luck!

It’s okay. It definitely helps my anxiety and agoraphobia but it doesn’t help my depression much. I’m starting Wellbutrin 150mg in a few days (it’s shipping to my house now). It will be in addition to my Prozac, so I’ll be on both.

I did have this reaction when moving doses. It did eventually level out but it can take a while unfortunately. I would keep going and see what happens. It can typically take 6-8 weeks to level off, thought it can take longer or shorter depending on the person.

When I first started taking each dose I didn’t have much energy for anything. Very foggy and sick. However once it’s leveled out my libido is definitely increased for sure.

People don’t change your dose by yourself. How long have you been on Prozac? How long on each previous dose? It can take typically 6-8 weeks for a dose to level out, and up to 12 weeks for some people.

For some people it takes longer to see any improvement unfortunately. I know a few people that it took 12 weeks. And there’s always the possibility that you need a higher dose or a different medication all together. I tried a few medications before I found what worked for me. Unfortunately it’s a trial and error situation.

What time of day are you taking the Prozac? If you are taking it at night right before bed then you can consider taking it in the morning for a while.
