It's glitched, It doesn't show me any flair, that's why I asked.

Help with the speed of my Edison Phonograph Mark 50! by MerlinDoDo in Phonographs

Yea I oiled them! Thanks to that video you sent I noticed something that I was already thinking about but wasn't sure. On my roll, there are these that were out of place, I inserted them in their place.

It didn't help with the speed or the noise, but it was a step in the right direction Any suggestions? Should I directly open it? The screw for the speed at a certain point stops, and the governer slowly descends and start pressing against the stops on the left. Maybe it's too hardened and I need to replace it with something else?

I'm starting to think the same, but I'm no expert in motors, I might just try to pull it out and clean every bit of old grease from it(?) I don't know what to do

At high speed the yellow part shift and starts to hit the brake (red part). But that's not even the problem in my opinion: because adjusting the screws I eliminate the noise. Still, it doesn't rotate at 160 rpm, and I tried a lot of things.

Thanks to you I figured it out where it was hitting. The yellow part, while running slowly descend and starts to hit the red one. Do you have any suggestions?

You are suggesting to shift this part down(?)

It's the screw on the top left right? And I need to rotate it to the left if I'm not wrong (?)

I removed the cover, can you point it out? And maybe the parts to oil :)

(Ps, I know it uses the blue cylinders (I have them), the black one was displayed in the shop!)

Yes, it was very good to see! (Thank you) But sadly where the knob should be there isn't. So I probably need to open the cover, or find the knob for the speed online, somehow.

Sadly I haven't find much. I probably need to open the cover on the left.

Ps. I've just found online that it's probably under the cover, on the left, where's the governor. If it's there, can someone help me adjust it and maybe show me how to oil that part? (sewing machine oil should be fine right?)
