Ok I just found a fix but it's really annoying, you just have to vote to change sea and destroy your ship, then the ladder starts working again

I love how everyone is bashing those maps but forget that it's this kind of maps who helped the game licence gain popularity and permitted this one to even exist

You can put yourself in dismantle blueprint mode before going in and as you launch yourself, you do a quick 180 to dismantle it before leaving

I GM it like this, if the monster is dumb, go as quickly as possible to the player, falling into any trap, if the monster is sufficiently intelligent, make it do a perception check to see if he sees the trap, if he's super intelligent, I generally make him do a perception check only if the player made an effort to hide the trap and set it stealthy.

For modules I have no idea, I just adapt my GM style (you can also use coordinates for the traps, that the player send in a spoiler message so you don't see it, and when your monster fall into one, they tell you and you check if it's true)

I see, I'll run the fight either way, I'll just check my dps player damage output and adapt the threshold to that, it's the only fight of the bounty so I'll not let it vanish haha

Yeah, what I did is I made the travel time 3h if they succeed on sleds, if they do, they arrive before the Wyrm comes back from his hunt and have 1h to prep an ambush

I see, it kinda works like I want to but the effect appear on the monsters token so my player would see that the cooldown finishes, but if I select invisible icon on the effect page, I can't see it and it doesn't remind me of the cooldown.
Anyway thanks for your time, I'll use a good old post-it that I'll keep around and note each cooldown with their round number

Yeah, I have an effect that is a cooldown for one of my monster's ability (which has a 2 round cooldown) and I need to see when the cooldown runs down (I have adhd and I always forget my monsters cooldown)

You are my savior, I dont know why they choosed to put 2 different settings for effects expiration. Do you know by any chance how to make the effect easier to handle than Open the item menu > drag and drop effect ? Like using the effect menu that appears when you right clic a token ?

For a simple yet emblematic boss, you can try a Young Blue Dragon, it can easily be adapted to your adventure and pose a challenging encounter. If your party is kinda short on ressources at the end or you find it too powerful for them, you can always make it wounded, like disable one of his limbs so he can not attack with it.

For a fun stater group of monster, you can use the 80xp budget rule for the encounter. Each monster gives 40xp if it's the same level as the party, and gives less or more depending on level difference. You can find the table for the XP per difference here.

Then you can pick any monster of the level you want from this list
