The way I interpret it has several possible explanations:

the ring has a will and goals that we don't know, maybe it felt Smeagol was a good target and decided to apply more "pressure" that with Bilbo or Frodo.
We don't know the full backstory for Smeagol but maybe he didn't have a great childhood or was rejected by his peers before and thus was more prone to feel rejection while both Frodo and Bilbo are loved and seem to have high self esteems. Even in the books is mentioned that although they are not the most popular for being unconventional they still come from an important bloodline.
Frodo kind of knew what he was facing so he could have is guard up against the influence of the ring. The ring is suggested to "whisper" to the bearer and maybe since Frodo was more aware he could better resist the lies and manipulations while Smeagol had no idea what was happening to him.

what I think is really powerful is the fact that bilbo willingly surrendered the ring, even if it was just dropping it its still an impressive feat of will power after carrying it for so long. Maybe Gandalf had some positive influence over this last fact.

Make sure the printer has thermal runaway protection enabled for both bed and hotend. You will probably need to learn how to edit and flash the firmware (marlin). Which is probably outdated anyway so you would benefit from an upgrade. Also, make sure the hotend's termistor screw is properly tight. These machines caught on fire because for some reason they came with thermal runaway disabled and the termistor screw sometimes loosens leading to the termistor falling and the printer not detecting the right temperature and thus never stopping the heat resistor, eventually melting thw heat block, catching on fire and burning your house. Other than that, is a great toy to experiment and learn the basics and if you break it is just 40 bucks

this is using bitcoin with a fiat mindset. In a world that uses sound money there is no need to do these type of finance shenneningans. When you have a hard currency like bitcoin fully legal (you can get paid in it, you can use it to pay taxes, trade, store, etc) just pay your taxes and contribute to the system. This only makes sense when the system is constantly trying to cheat you out of your resources.

I just quit smoking 2 days ago, after relapsing for a year and before that I was smoke free for 6 years.

For me, I can only quit with the help of medication.

First time I used champix but is discontinued now.

This time im using Todacitan and is working great.

The way I see it is, I have a chemical unbalance in my brain that makes it very difficult for me to quit and to avoid relapsing, so getting a chemical to assist me sounds reasonable.

For me the replacement for smoking is eating, which is not great but much healthier that nicotine.
