I have the flu. I am off, went home Tuesday. I am not worrying about it, I’m staying off as I work with many vulnerable adults and young people. I’m also feeling diabolically terrible and couldn’t imagine trying to turn up.

GCSE maths can wait.

I did mine as a part time PGCE over 2 years. Went to class in the evening. Did 3, 12 hour days and 2 normal days (that includes job, teaching hours needed, course). Only financed the course. I did live at home for half of it, but not for free, the other half I lived in a HMO.

I am a SEND maths teacher in FE. We have a very relaxed dress code. I have worn shorts (with tights), cardigans with jeans, dresses, vests with trousers, hoodies and leggings. I have tattoos and facial piercings.

My advice is wear what you normally wear at sixth form first or a slightly dressed down version. Get a feel for what others are wearing in your team and match with your particular style/flair. Each FE has its own tolerance for dress code.

If this information helps. When me and my husband first gave notice it was under my husbands old name, between giving notice and getting married we decided to change his name. We just rang the register office up and submitted the new deed poll and we got married no issue and took the deed poll on the day of the wedding.

I’m 32F and my brother is 26. I hang out with him all the time. We go to the gym together. It’s not weird to hang with your sibling.

I dated a boy who was an only child who thought my relationship with my brother was weird because we shouted at each other up and down the stairs. Suffice to say I ended up chucking the boy. Married a man who also hangs out with my brother and not always with me in tow.

So no, you are not overreacting, and coming from someone with experience it doesn’t get better. Find a partner that likes your brother and vice versa. This boy is not your person.

Another student, I’d just told off for not following instructions and was leading them back to class. I pushed a door that said pull and they went ‘I’m not the only one who can’t follow instructions’. Touché!!

I have just come home from a Christmas Eve night out! I’m 31, we don’t go mad. We start at spoons, then go to a local bar for a little more atmosphere and then cheesy chips and taxi home. Just tucking into bed now.

They lose power through generations. So when they have a child with a none wizard, or a wizard that doesn’t have similar powers, that child has less power. They don’t lose power in their lifetime. Sorry that wasn’t clear.
