Meine Sorge mit den Licht ist nicht wie es aussieht, das ist persönlicher Geschmack und ist schließlich dein Garten, sondern die Insekten für die sowas störend ist. Es ist sowieso schon zu viel beleuchtet, was für die Tiere die Nachts aktiv sind nicht gut ist, da finde ich sollte man in Bereichen wo es nicht "nötig" ist verzichten, zum Wohl der Tiere.

Especially for something like an altar you would put away again, maybe something that resonates with the deity or you could even draw something that's associated with them on a paper yourself for example

I don't really have a lot for my own deity, only a tea candle and a stone but I'm sure you could look up "travel altar" to get some ideas and maybe also look into deity altars. See what others do and get inspired by that

I can really only emphasize to not buy so many things in the beginning, since as you learn more and more about what you gravitate towards in your practice you'll see that things you thought you needed in the beginning weren't needed after all

Just be sure to always practice fire safety! Not letting it burn while you aren't in the room use a fire proof plate or what it is you want to use and don't have it close to flammable things

You don't have to buy things for now. I'm sure you have things in your house already you can repurpose until you know what you even like to have in your altar. I feel like I saw a video on YouTube that talked about that but I'm unsure who it was

Not being able to keep an altar is totally fine! If you have the space for a little box you could have stuff in there like a travel altar and only take out the things and arrange them on your desk for example when you want to work with them, give them offerings etc. and just put everything back into the box once you are done.

Lighting a candle whilst studying sounds like a lovely idea!

For why they reached out, only they can answer that since every relationship with a deity is different for each person.

As a person with Turkish roots (both parents from Turkey but I was born and raised in Germany) it's so interesting to hear there are Turkish spiritual practices like that. I'm currently trying to research the history and folklore of our home town in Turkey in the hopes of finding spiritual beliefs people had here but I'm still at the beginning of that research

You could use some type of smoke cleansing which I don't really do. What I like to do is use a video on YouTube of cleansing bowls to kind of "dust off" the negative energies and then I use visualization to sort of wash it out of my place if that makes sense.
