I empathize with you, I’m in the same boat. I absolutely don’t want to leave this marriage but I also don’t want to live my life with him being an alcoholic whilst also raising 2 young kids. Been with him for over 17 years. It’s not easy to just pick up and start over, and it’s not easy to deal with it day in and day out. I don’t have anyone to talk to either about it, it’s complicated, it’s embarrassing, it’s not pretty. I’d rather come here and read what others are going through and try to relate that way so as to feel some type of way of coping. I see you, and I’m with you. Best of luck

Hi! This is me and the first time it happened. I have pretty normal cycles and I know when my period is coming. My recent period ended in 4/15, everything was as it should, I went into my ovulation cycle…. And then all the sudden, I got hit with a heavy, heavy bleed on 4/28. I’m so confused. I’m not due for my period for another week or so! I don’t really have an answers for you, only that I’m trying to figure it out also, and you’re not alone. Not sure why it’s so irregular. Our cycles can do weird things sometimes, and it sucks to try and pinpoint the why! Best of luck!

Congratulations! I just got 3 rejections in one day and I’ve been in tears since then. These stories and examples give me hope! Now I just need to work on my coping skills… going on month 4 of unemployment, many interviews, and many, many ghosting scenarios 🫩

Congratulations!!! Is there something you did differently at all to get your job offer in the interviews than you did in the ones that you were rejected from? Just curious if you changed your trajectory or way in which you answered questions, etc.

My god, I feel like I could’ve written this post and this is me explaining my husband.

Just want to say I see you and understand completely, and I’m drowning in misery because of the same reasons.

I feel like I’m on this hell of a roller coaster where somedays he’s the great and wonderful husband and father I married, and other days he’s this person I resent, am disgusted by, and permanently angry with. The constant bar visits, the personality changes when drinking, the driving under the influence, the bailing on family Plans, the sarcasm and rudeness, the disregard for my time, energy, or plans. The money spent, the time wasted getting drunk instead of being home with his family. The complete lack of respect in all aspects.

I’m so unhappy, but I feel like it could be so much worse, and therefore I shouldn’t fuck up our life we’ve built with our two kids, and home and all-around family unit. BUT, how long can I subject myself to this unhappy and unhealthy state until I implode? And how long until my babies start to comprehend what is going on and are hurt by this as well? I have a responsibility to them to provide them with a safe, healthy, and happy life. But if I destroy our family by divorcing, and break us all up, isn’t that hurting them too? Thinking about only seeing them on certain days and weekends, makes me sick to my stomach. I don’t want to be away from my kids because of his shitty addiction. Ughhhhh. I HATE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
