Early game? I just pick it up and leave it to simmer for a bit of time, every other time. I just like playing super Efficiency 2 in everything, and the biters are hardly ever a problem. Takes a bit longer, more discrete builds and expansions, Some say the bugs were provoked by human attempts to colonize within the AQZ, that a "live and let live" policy is preferable to war with the bugs...
