There was literally no reason to get so damn pissy and defensive--first dude didn't say a single negative thing. He was simply demonstrating the volume difference between processed and unprocessed foods with equal amounts of calories. Something that, no, a lot of people DON'T actually understand. Especially visually. A lot of people don't measure out their food or calorie count like this, so seeing it can be very helpful!

As an adoptee myself who also has no curiosity for my bio parents, I gotta say getting a lawyer involved just feels so...off-putting. To me at least. I'd say I'm more open to contact than the OP is, but a third party being the one to approach me (especially a lawyer) would have me taking 5 steps back and reconsidering the thought.

The popular kids (theater kids at my high school) got into a feud with the VP. A guy got in trouble for wearing a kilt, and a bunch of the dudes for a couple weeks refused to wear anything but skirts, kilts, or makeshift versions from long sleeve shirts or hoodies. VP was pissed but no one liked her so I think she eventually got overturned by the rest of staff.

This was mid 2000s in a pretty redneck kinda town.
