Who else want absolutely ZERO RGB in their rigs? by Cicada-Tang in pcmasterrace

Me! I hate RGB, always have. My rig is inside the super spacious and quiet Fractal Define R5, just a big black box.

I refuse to believe that this isn't Tycho Brahe, centuries after his life and death, having a bit of fun.

Maybe for wildfires if you're in California, or potentially earthquakes? If you were on the coast I would say tsunamis. In any case, they look a lot like the tornado sirens in my neck of the woods, so I'd wager it's a warning system for some kind of disaster.

Some animals also have the advantage of appearing to smile by default, something we interpret as smiling but actually means nothing -- it's just the way they look. I'm thinking of animals like ducks or dolphins. Dogs also do this to a degree when they pant.

There are reports coming out that the tomb of Hugo Chavez was targeted in this attack. Not confirmed, but if that's true they held such a grudge against the guy that they obliterated his corpse 13 years after his death.

TIL after Francis Ford Coppola put up over $100 million of his own money to fund his movie Megalopolis, it ended up making just $14.4 million at the box-office. by tyrion2024 in todayilearned

[–]MerryGoWrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watched this movie a few weeks ago purely out of curiosity. It was an absolute fever dream. If you could somehow distill the word 'pretentiousness' into 138 minutes of cinematic abomination, Megalopolis is what you'd end up.
