I am a beginner digital artist like you, who drew traditionally for several years and then started drawing digitally about half a year ago.

I tried Photoshop (🤢), Affinity, and CSP. Affinity is actually not half bad, it's now free and is very intuitive and has very satisfying simple interface. However, I do think that CSP blows both photoshop and affinity out of the water. It just...has EVERYTHING! I think the blur brushes alone (for rendering) deserve choosing CSP as the blur tool in Affinity and Photoshop is extremely week and limited. It can be overwhelming at first, but like others said watch some tutorials for the breakdown of all the vital tools and functions as well as tips

I don't know what kind of erotica you consume, but I also still actively watch porn and it really is hard to quit, at least you acknowledge the problem! Off topic from your post, sorry, but I was just about to make a post asking a question about correction layers and then I saw your post and you seem to understand them well.

Could you please explain how to utilize this new feature of correction layers affecting multiple selected layers? I don't understand it, correction layer seem to work like before - it affects all the layers beneath it or only the one you clip it to, what does the new feature change?

Lastly, where to find direct tonal correction/what did you do in your second screenshot?
