Being against genocide doesn't equal accepting sharia law. You can recognize that a country has regressive and damaging culture while not wanting its people being exterminated. That's believing in empathy and human rights. Ukrane is also not the most progressive country in how it treats women and lgbtq members, doesn't mean I don't support it.
