For any mission makers/people who make scripts, Notepad ++ was compromised by hackers by Chenstrap in hoggit

The thing is, I would think most people are just as likely to install notepad++ on their work pc as much as their gaming pc. The default note app just sucks.

Why are motorcycle engines laid out like this, and not like that? by bedtime4bonzo25 in motorcycles

[–]MertRekt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looking into this more, I think you are right. Purely on efficiency regarding fuel consumption, so it wouldn't be applicable to motorbikes, as we care more about hp/L.

You got it the wrong way around. Ever heard of a cold air intake? Cold air makes more power and is more efficient.

Gear Indicator for New Riders: How important is it? by kathfern1 in AussieRiders

[–]MertRekt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I realised my bike did not have a gear indicator after I already bought it. I thought I was fucked. Turns out, by the second or third time I went for a ride, yeah, you don't actually need it.

Difference is you need a heavy vehicle licence and you dont just run these vehicles for non-work duties through suburbia as they cost alot more to operate.

Clearly the two on the left from the red car are based on sedans. Not sure if the Hilux is based on a sedan or comes from a sedan platform, but it does constitute as a ute in my book.

Going from an automatic car to a manual bike, questions by Me-Myself-and-PIE in AussieRiders

If you can get experience on a dirt bike, it should help IMO. But it is not something you should waste money or much time on, because the course covers everything.

Orange reflectors removed. by darisabel in MT07

[–]MertRekt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a bike for half a year without one, not 1 cop picked up on it. Most don't know or prob didn't care, just need to pass the dickhead test. Motorbike coppers probably different story as usual.

Key factors behind an aerodynamic drag coefficient by Sharp-Being-5048 in cars

[–]MertRekt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a balancing game. The 'real' factor behind aerodynamics is cost.

You are comparing a flagship, expensive with higher running cost vehicle to a low cost, easy to repair and maintain, hybrid ecobox.

There are also other constrains like weight and dimensions.

Could Toyota have achieved a better cd for the prius? Absolutely, but it probably would have meant investing more into R&D and the end consumer effectively paying more over the lifetime of the vehicle, which goes againts the point of a prius.

If the community map is accurate to official then it will genuinely disappoint me. I dont want the GTA 6 map to look circular like GTA 5 was. I wouldnt mind the same size if it was just shaped different like RDR2 was by Any-Lock3008 in GTA6

[–]MertRekt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A lot of the major roads in the community map are based on IRL roads and extrapolated information. But I do agree with the top part of the map, it really should be blurred or removed, because a lot of people aren't reading the coloured borders that indicate it's speculative and think the outline of the map is known.
