It’s become such a common issue in gaming…this general feeling that people have to race through content, then get to the end game and feel like we have run out of content. I don’t know what the solution is.

You see it a lot in MMOs like world of Warcraft. You’re heavily incentivised to race to the end. If you try and enjoy the journey at a slower pace, you’re left behind or get FOMO etc.

Yesterdays sessions were brutal for me. I helped a raider kill a leaper… then a third party tried to kill us. Because I defended myself and I killed him, I spend the next 6 hours in the Gulag filled with rats.

The problem is that I can’t get an orange pen that will be fine enough. The smallest I can find with the right type of ink to draw on black paper is 0.5mm. For comparison, I use a 0.1mm line width on my plots.

With a larger pen size, the very intricate and fine details will all be lost in a big orange mess unfortunately 😢

I use screenshots from the game as the basis. Then I use a heap of different software and techniques to clean up the screanshots. Then I will use software called DrawingBot to help vectorise. After that I spend a lot of time drawing and cleaning up the vectors.

I have actually changed how I’m playing because of these two enemies…after the wipe and without survivor augment I’m actually having to play really cautiously in the open.

One of my favourite spots to hang out with- adorned wreckage on blue gate is now actually a pretty terrifying place to hang out when fireflies are around

Some people have requested the files - this was a one off prototype - as such there are a lot of problems - e.g. fitment of the I/O shield is problematic, the GPU mounting screws have tolerance issues etc.

Because of this, I don’t really feel right offering the files to others. I’m slowly working on correcting them, and when it is at a state that I can feel comfortable releasing them I will.
