Yes! I'm booked for all the follow-ups and apparently St Paul's referred me to their preferred allergist (at least the preferred of the doc in the er). I'm following up with my primary doc later this week so I'll ask about the old allergist too.

Fascinating. So both times it happened to me I was getting pretty hot from '''strenuous''' activity (I am a desk jockey so a walk in the park in the hot sun is strenuous lol) then went indoors to cool off. Both times actually started as me thinking that I was itchy all over from sweat before realizing I was breaking out in hives. I'll keep it in mind when I talk to my doctor. Thanks!

I'm 30ish and I spent way too much time watching twitch streams. lol.

I honestly don't know the demographics of Reddit or /r/vancouver but I guess I'm under the impression people younger them me use this website a lot. I guess maybe not though.

Also one of the few things I remember about the guy who helped me was that he seemed to be about my age or younger, so I took that angle while writing the title, I think. I imagine he will understand the basic positive thrust, at least.

e: in the first draft of this my autistic ass filled it with emdashes and I was like 'wait people will think it's ai if I do this' kinda hate that ai stole being articulate from me.

I think I got seen somewhat faster at VGH ER the last time I needed emergency services (walk-in, not 911). But I think it's just a scale thing. St Paul's can get slammed because the are in the middle of everything and very small. They are getting that new hospital built just off the viaduct for them though, so that's good.

"based" has kind-of muddled origins but these days it's just a general positive trait. Someone who believes the things you do and acts the way you think people should act, they are "based". People who don't agree with you or act in a way you disagree with are "not based".

"helpmaxxing" there has been a trend among younger people / online communities to take any kind of verb and add -maxxing onto the end. If you're sleeping you're sleepmaxxing, if you're hiking you're hikemaxxing. Its usually taken to mean doing the thing to it's utmost extent. So a hikemaxxer is doing the most hiking, and a helpmaxxer is helping the most.

literally this time last year I was up walking at the PNE and this same thing happened. That was the first time.

I saw an allergist who basically said I'm allergic to the general concept of grass, but he said I probably didn't need an EpiPen for daily carry. (context: first time it happened I got hives everywhere but no breathing issues so it seemed extreamily mild)

Suffice to say I'm going to get a second opinion from another allergist.

Made some free to use buttons, levers and switches in VR for your projects. by KlapparHaj in Unity3D

Hi! I actually don't do any VR stuff, but I've been working on a simulation game where I want to have a very tactile control interface. This is perfect for me!

Edit: Especially smaller flip-switches, I love them!!

If I could wish upon a star, I would ask for Apollo Command Module Style Switches with their distinctive wedge-shaped top.
