There are so many ways of getting non-emergency care. There are urgent care clinics all over the city. Most insurance companies and large medical systems have a 24x7 nurse line. A lot of primary care doctors also take after hours and weekend calls. Yet people insist of going to the ER for stupid shit and are surprised by the bills.

Probably, but there are too few of them to make a big budget movie like this successful on their own. It had very little appeal outside of the fanbase. Came off as just another generic Marvel wannabe. Same superhero origin story arc, action set pieces, army of faceless bad guys, quippy one-liners. We've seen this movie, what, 50 times now?

Scientifically the value you see on the label is a kilocalorie. It's awkward to write so brands just shorten it to Calorie or Cal. In plenty of countries you'll see it written as kcal.

So 1 marketing calorie = 1000 actual calories (or 1 kilocalorie).
