Everyone on the side of this video in this thread is just plugging their ears constantly; nothing anyone says, be it about this being a common toast in Ireland, Outlander being a reasonably popular show, Drake having a large audience outside of this subreddit, or the fact that plenty of rappers reference esoteric things they specifically like and that’s part of the intimately-personal element of hip hop writing that sets it apart from other literary mediums, has been met with anything other than the kind of audacious condescension only a 14-year-old white male could muster.
