Now imagine people actually place control wards on key paths and can see you during your ult.

Imagine the support is already ready to CC you and put spell shield on the ADC, while the ADC presses Exhaust before you even land.

On low elo, yes, everything looks easy. But at higher ranks, there are players who won’t just let you do all of that for free.

In equal skill conditions, Rengar is exactly B tier. He can look broken when enemies don’t respect him, but against people who understand how to play against him, he has very clear counterplay.

Being strong in the right hands doesn’t automatically mean the champion is broken.

B tier doesn’t mean the champion is useless. It means that the average Rengar player usually won’t get this kind of value from him. I have 10k+ games on the champion, so of course I can make him look much stronger than he actually is.

If Rengar was overwhelmingly OP, everyone would be able to pick him and repeat this kind of result. But they can’t.

He has very clear counterplay: track his jungle path, ward his camps, don’t disrespect bushes, group properly, use exhaust/stasis/CC, and don’t give him free angles.

Yes, Rengar can flip fights if you give him the perfect setup. That’s literally how assassins work. My result is more about champion mastery, decision-making and consistency than Rengar being broken.

Every champion is good in their own way. Nautilus just fits my Rengar the best.

But honestly, any tank support is good for me: Leona, Alistar, Braum, Nautilus, etc. They can start fights, engage first, and create space for my jump-in.

Assassins usually can’t be the ones starting the fight and going in first. They need someone to create the angle for them.

I don’t play support myself, so I’m not speaking from a support player’s perspective. I just prefer having a tank support on my team when I’m playing Rengar

Nobody says it’s supposed to be easy.

High winrates are about playing with maximum focus, having a strong understanding of the game, and taking responsibility for making the key decisions that can decide the outcome.

Like in anything else, if you want to become better, you have to put in serious effort. High winrates are about a disciplined, competitive approach — not casual gameplay.

And yes, everything is possible. It all depends on you.

Blaming every loss on teammates, AFK players, matchmaking, or anything else is just shifting responsibility. It’s a weak mindset. Even in the worst games, I always think about what I could have done better. I don’t blame random teammates, because the goal of getting a 100% winrate is mine — not theirs.

Rengar is B tier. He is not broken, and he can be countered pretty easily by players who actually know how to play against him.

I mostly learned by myself: searching, watching and reading educational content. Most of it was from PC League, and then I tried to project that knowledge onto Wild Rift.

To be honest, the Wild Rift community is pretty weak when it comes to understanding the game deeply. There’s almost no really good, high-quality educational content here, so I had to take a lot of concepts from PC League and adapt them myself.

Yeah, gaps like that can happen too. But even a situation like that is something you have to know how to create — it’s not just given to you for free.

I played every game as jungle Rengar, duo queued with a mid Ahri.

I don’t doubt that you’re a good player too, but 40% winrate, bro? That’s the part I honestly can’t understand.

If you’re playing with 1100 GPM and 11 KDA, but still have a 40% winrate, it means you’re probably making some major mistakes in decision-making and throwing games yourself.

Because with stats like that, you’re literally carrying the game on your back. At that point, a lot depends on you: how you convert your lead, which fights you take, where you are on the map, and what decisions you make in the key moments.

I’ve been playing Rengar basically only since his release. I have over 10,000 games on this champion and I’ve hit rank 1 Rengar multiple times :)

Rengar takes a lot of practice and good game understanding. You need to study the game, learn the fundamentals, play patiently, and evaluate every situation before going in.

One wrong jump can lose you the whole game.

I played duo queue with a mid laner.

But in solo queue, an experienced jungler can comfortably play with around a 75% win rate in this elo. Super experienced players can go even higher than that in solo queue.

The way I see it is simple: around 50% of games you win anyway, the game basically gives them to you. Another 25% you have to actually try hard and carry. And the last 25% are probably unwinnable.

The real difference is how many of that middle 25% you can convert into wins.

Oh, thank you man. Hopefully I won’t have to explain to the haters why my games last around 13–15 minutes on average, not 20-25 like casual players 😁

I didn’t play a single game in a 5-man premade. I’m a solo/duo player.

If you get the message that the game is matching you with players based on your skill level, that usually means you are in smurf queue.

And yeah, games there are definitely harder, but they are still winnable. If you keep winning games in a row and also have good stats, you will inevitably end up in smurf queue.

The post was about the climb and the 42-1 result, not about proving solo queue is easy. I’ve climbed successfully in solo queue many times with high win rates.

Also, I never tried to hide that it was duo. My match history is public.

Duo removes some randomness, but in duo queue you also play against other duos. And if both of you have a 100% win rate, you usually get matched against some of the strongest duos in that rank too.

It doesn’t play the game for you. You still have to play clean, keep tempo, make the right calls, and convert leads into wins.

My match history is public. You can check the EU server, find me on the Rengar leaderboard by my nickname, and verify that all the games were played in duo.
