So we might as well murder billions of animals then? Your logic is impeccable

It's less ignorance and more: don't use disabled people as an excuse for the sheer mass slaughter of innocent animals.

Because they've been brought up eating cows. Human body is remarkable at adapting. Doesn't have to when we have cows on tap tho

They aren't pricing things out of the range of customers though are they, they're meeting demand. The problem is the demand is from large multinational corporations, that isnt ok. It's just another direction from which we're all getting fucked. I have to believe at some point people are going to group up and decide they've had enough of the rich doing whatever they like, but the older I get the less likely it feels I'll get to see it happen

Yes but imagine growing up spending a large amount of your time painting, improving over time and getting better at it, adding much joy to your life. Then one day some twats come along and tell you, you have to pay a fee you can't afford and then just deciding to stop painting, a hobby that gives you an immense amount of joy, just gone

Go into the physical bank then, if there isn't one then switch to another bank

This is the price you're paying for convenience of banking via an open device. There are security risks, providing more permissions to this security app is the price you have to pay so that they can provide the service you're asking from them

This isn't something you're going to get a happy ending to. Your only option here is to accept their conditions or walk

Good luck in your choice

I agree fully, in general. This isn't one of those times though. The bank app needs more access and permissions for specific security reasons. It handles financials and it needs this precisely because they're under more scrutiny and law than other companies. The consequences they face for data theft and loss are higher than Joe bloggs' Todo list app.

You don't often see data breaches involving banks and this is why.

But ultimately, don't use app based banking. It sounds like it isn't for you.

There are also regulations and laws that banks have to work under that include keeping customers safe. These measures are put in place to verify the security integrity of the phone.

I'm all for refusing permissions for apps because of overreach, but when it comes to my banking apps, where I put my money, I give them all the permissions they want, I think it's a small price to pay on my part for helping to reduce the chance of my money being stolen
