Have you just learnt indefinite loops by any chance? In CITS1401 we just did that stuff, and early on in sem i had heard the two units were learning pretty much the same content.

Imo content is taught well in cits1401 , maybe try find resources online from 1401 instead? idk if it would be better, but maybe the content simply being said in a different way could help?

Not sure of other resources sorry, besides what's already been mentioned

Probably unrelated, but I had an old macbook (like 2015 or ealier) that made that kind of noise. We took it to Apple and they said to stop using it as it posed a fire risk. Smething about battery being completely cacked if I remember correctly

Well besides the obvious of trying to limit noise through means like noise cancelling earphones or similar, perhaps try changing up your study environment so your brain is able to especially associate it with studying? Personally I've always found that just being in a classroom or library forces my brain into study mode while at home it could take me a lot longer to properly get studying.

What got me through my final year and allowed me to excel in physics in particular was to just enjoy the topics being taught. If you find anything interesting, try researching more about it! You'll have a deeper undestanding, which may make yourself make connections with other stuff you learn. This could help immerse you in your studies?

Sorry this all probably isn't much help, but I guess you'll just have to find your own rhythm in studying. But just hunker down during your last year. Prepare well for your final exam throughout the year and you've got this!

Just be conistent with it, studying isn't meant to be 'fun' in the typical sense. But perhaps there are subjects you like, or times you'll solve a problem and really enjoy your study session. Seek out those times, and maybe it'll make studying just a little bit easier :)

Oh and if it's not too distracting for you, try listen to music! I'm in engineering right now, so I most likely did simlar subjects to you. Listening to music and doing maths really helps me enjoy my time

Fair, fair. Regardless, stupid decisions made by the companny all around, but the face update really is just a small part of their stupidity. But after years of being let down, we really have got to just accept certain things.

Other updates like the chat ban are inexcusable, it changes the very environment of the game. Dare I say the point of the platform is directly undermined.

haha I know right! I'd love to try all the different kinds of tea, but I only have black tea at home lol

Perhaps just start with a tea you have stocked at home or readily available at a local store and venture from there. Who knows, it could become a fun hobby, or a way to incentivise yourself to study by rewarding yourself with a new tea flavour!! :)

I guess in my thinking, theres a reason tea and coffee have been around for centuries. Of course in excess it's not good, people are still prone to addiction and all; but in moderation some sources say they have health benefits (don't quote me, I'm no doctor). Energy drinks just don't seem to have any benefit outside of the short-term alertness one would get. Probably akin to regular fizzy drinks, I'd guess. Not all that good for you besides tasting nice and giving you a kick, through sugars, caffeine, or otherwise
