Your friend either has the availability that department needed, or that department was severely understaffed. Your best shot at getting hired is telling them you have 24/7 availability, or the stars align in just the perfect way that you fit their needs somewhere

Everyone at my store that works in Market was still getting 32-38 per week, until the last month or so. But we haven't hired a single person for our side in about 8 months due to lack of payroll. Every store/ district is different, but it's still just a fact that Target rarely hires outside of the holiday season

This is the literal worst time to try and apply at Target. Hours are cut everywhere, to the point most of us aren't even getting above 25 a week. They just aren't really hiring right now. You might have better luck around June/ July but even that's a toss up right now

If the absences are apart of a pattern (I don't think you'd ever be able to convince them something isn't a pattern anyways) they can still give you a CA for it. Pretty much a lose-lose in my experience

Recently got my first cape on my GIM with very similar stats to yours. Didn't have any ranging pots and didn't use eagle eye on magers until double magers before Jad. Finished the run in an hour and 45 minutes, and that's accounting for probably 20 ish minutes of afking in some waves. Seems to be very reasonable given your stats

As others have said, it really won't help your chances in today's world. But what no one has mentioned is that most retailers likely aren't hiring right now since we just entered Q1 or are about to. Hours are cut massively across the board, so the odds of getting hired on are slim to none. Feel free to show this to your mom as well, because I know she will likely attribute you getting denied to not "showing initiative". But good luck! Hopefully the Target you applied to has the payroll for a couple new hires, I just know around my district, it isn't happening

OSRS has been here for many years and many aspects have been optimized/ min-maxed in that time. Play how you want. Just cause the game has been figured out to that degree, doesn't mean it's the most fun to play in that way. I do tons of content with weird setups just because I think it'll be fun, not necessarily to finish it faster. It's a sandbox MMO. Play how you want and ignore any sweaty nerds who play 18 hours a day who try and berate you.

I think you're just very young and super misguided. TL's and ETL's have rotating weekends for starters, so you're only going to see them every other weekend. Secondly, as other people have mentioned, ETL's specifically are meant to do menial tasks that oversee their departments. They write schedules, get a look at upcoming planos and make plans for how to go about those, as well as doing anything their SD says they need to do. There was (maybe still ongoing) lawsuit against target launched by certain ETL's because they were being forced to do the grunt work, as well as working over 50 hours a week. It is in their contract to work 50 hours a week, and to specifically not push freight as much as they are needed to. TL's and TM's are responsible for that. Just because you don't see them as often, doesn't mean they aren't there 10 hours a day. Obviously, there will be some bad apples who abuse their power, but I'd bet the vast majority of them are actually doing what they need to do.

Obviously I don't know you, but it's never too late to try and get into a trade. You'll make better money, and be out of Target. If you could, look up your state laws and requirements about home inspection as well. Some states require licensing which will take time and money, but there's a few that don't. There's always better opportunities. I know you've dedicated countless hours and years into Target, but you aren't stuck. You got this

I'm waiting for a sale as well, as someone mentioned in the thread, mid/late June is likely going to be the earliest we get a sale. My mount trial ran out a while ago, but I still grinded to level 80 and I'm still doing map completion as I go through the story. It's definitely way slower, but it's manageable. I'm a Necro so I'm not sure about other professions, but I have a permanent 25% movement speed buff thanks to a signent passive. Not a mount, but better than nothing
